Recently bought a Brother DCP-L2250DW to replace my HP OfficeJet Pro 6978. Made the switch because we are now FORCED by HP to pay astronomical prices for OEM ink. Rated this product 5 stars for price & functionality, first thing I did when I received the product was remove it from it's very professional packaging and made sure it worked with my printer. The printer showed an error on the desktop application and would not show me toner levels, but printed just fine when attempting to print PDFs and Word docs. I read the product reviews and did not expect the toner level function to work, as it is a common error with non-OEM ink so I did not remove any stars form this review. While the toner-level function may not work, these cartridges are so affordable that it's easy to just keep an extra on-hand when toner does finally run out. I can't yet speak to how long one cartridge will last or how many copies it can produce and likely won't know for several months down the road. Overall, this product is excellent and reduces the financial burden of owning and using your own printer in a home-office setting. Purchase with confidence and peace of mind that it will work and have excellent print quality for office-related work.

Sadly, this brand - once a solid product - is no longer a viable option. After 200-300 pages they fade and run out of toner. Same experience from two boxes of four cartridges each. All 8 ran out around 200-300 pages and printed faded prints.

I received item earlier than anticipated! At first I thought it was to small but after figuring out how it went in, it was a breeze.

Works just like the name brand—no difference in print quality and fits perfectly. Only downside is the lack of instructions. You’ll need to manually reset the toner on your printer, which isn’t obvious. A quick Google solved it, though. For less than half the price, it's a solid buy.
