I use these pads if i have a breakout (fluid leak) on my legs and they heal within a week. Excellent product.

These are brilliant. Was using silicone dressings but they all seem to trap the moisture. (maceration apparently) The layer behind the silver mash comes off easily, when changing,if there has been any moisture. The thin layer of silver mesh can then be peeled back against itself hardly lifting the wound. Also used when the wound has heeled to prevent rubbing, with soft silicone tape. (old person), and the silver means that if you have to replace it in the middle of the night you can just quickly wash your hands, (or not) replace the dressing and go back to bed.Probably not how it's supposed to be done, but we've had no problems. For wounds that have just about healed we just cut of a section and put the rest back in the paper envelope. Bought several times over the years. Would certainly recommend. Cheaper than the chemical silver silicone dressings as well.
