This bag works so well. It's not padded amazingly, but honestly that's ok I just put some card board on the bottom and around the tail and nose areas and then wrapped the board in a beach towel and good to go. The reason I like it, is the bag is built well and sturdy and the space it has is remarkable. If you removed the bindings you could fit 7 snowboards in here. Easy! But even with bindings, I put my snow boots and 3 other pairs of shoes, gloves, jacket, overalls/bib, 2 pairs of pants and some random supplies and a folded up duffle bag inside. And it all fit. So on a longer trip you could just check this and one other bag and you're solid for 10 days+. The design is also dope, when everyone is just making all black luggage it's nice to have a cool design and color.

Good bag for a short hop or day trip but….
This is a really good bag for a day trip, keeps your board safe along with the interior of your car too. Nice touch for it to be “slightly padded” but in no way is it built for airline travel. I like the overbuilt handle, softer material than my Burton bag, and the ease in which the strap comes off, I don’t use it honestly. Here’s why I took a star away though. Calling this length a 165 is a stretch. I’ve got a lot of boards, from 150 to 166 in length and this thing is a bit on the tight side for my 159 TRS. Got maybe just under an inch left behind. I’d say a 162 is max length but anything else not happening. Forget about my 165 Dynamo, or my 166 TF, neither fit it comfortably. If you’re buying it for length best you get is a 162 but forget about anything else. Other than that issue I’m impressed does a great job at protecting my board from the back of my pickup truck.

Great, lightweight travel bag
I purchased this snowboard bag as a spare bag to put my extra boards in. I already have a padded DaKine travel snowboard bag with wheels that I travel with and have had for over 20 years, so this is just a spare bag to hold extra snowboards and maybe to travel locally with. I have 3 snowboards in it now (only 1 board has bindings attached) and no issues with the weight when I take it in and out of the closet. It seems very durable and well-constructed and the bag itself doesn't add much weight to the equation. I'm very happy with the purchase given the price, and I trust that DaKine bags are very well constructed. As for traveling on a plane with this bag, since it's not padded at all, I think I would feel comfortable traveling with just a old board and bindings and maybe boots.

Nice bag ( was MISSING SHOULDER STRAPS )
Very nice snowboard bag. I purchased it for my wife (bag size 155). Only the bottom portion is padded. We will end up using it for her spare board. Waiting on the Dakine Tour Floral 155 to be in stock. The reason for 4 stars before is that it is missing the shoulder straps. I am awaiting on Amazon and/or Dakine to get back to me..... Dakine had reached our to me and had sent out a new shoulder strap. 100% definitely stand by their product. I updated and switched my rating to a 5 stars.

Fits everything perfectly, and looks cool too
As other people have recommended, go with the 165cm size to make it all easier to pack. Fit my 154 snowboard, bindings, helmet, goggles, gloves, and snow pants no problem. I bought it for a trip to Salt Lake City and had no problems checking it on as luggage. No damage to my gear. The zipper and straps feel solid, only a little padding on the base but most of the bigger bags are overkill anyway. Actually appreciate having this at the house, too, since I cant store all my gear away easily for the next season. Plus it just looks cool. Would recommend.
