Scream Queen Collection, Vol. 1

BAGMAN- I am embarrassed to admit it, but I liked this video. The film starts out with 20 some year old "kids" taunting a deformed kid. Randy places a burlap bag on the deformed kid's head and drowns him. He makes the other kids swear not to tell. 10 years later in Seattle, they get together on Friday the 13th to watch horror movies and hang out by the graveyard. One by one they are being killed off.The plot was simple with no twists. The movie was short, and dialouge was bad, but enjoyable. The horror movie they watched was Razor's own "Eyes of the Werewolf" with Stephanie Beaton. They critique the movie, "the ending sucked" as if the rest of it was good. Stephanie, whose on-line biography states she loved horror movies so much as a child she wanted to grow up to become a Scream Queen, says she hates horror movies in this film...a little personal irony I enjoyed.The special effects were funny, especially when they cut off a man's hand. I think we did that gag at age nine. The movie needed a good twist and some better dialouge. No character build-up.PARENTAL GUIDE: F-bomb, sex, nudity.EYES OF THE WEREWOLF-This movie was bad. The werewolf special effects are worse than 1940's. The wolf wore a large mask with lights in the eyes. The mouth really didn't move much and never moved when it was "biting" someone in the neck, but blood squirted out.A group of human organ hunters kill a werewolf in the woods. His eyes are used to transplant into a patient who immediately turns into a werewolf every night there is a full moon, which is about 4-5 "nights" in a row. The night time action was actually filmed during the day, then they flashed a picture of the moon.The werewolf is aided by his friend who thinks werewolves are cool and a midget with crutches (I didn't make this stuff up). Stephanie Beaton ("Zombie Ninja Gangbangers") plays a nurse in two sex scenes that approach soft core porno. If you like well endowed topless redheads (and who doesn't?) and bad movies, check this one out.EVIL IN THE BAYOU- This is the worse "bad movie" Razor has to offer. Stephanie Beaton, whose topless body is the main or only attraction of all their films, keeps her top on. The special effects of the rubber chicken and fake goat's head (recorded goat sounds being played to make us think it is alive) were LOL comical. The dialouge was funny at times. Randal Malone, a Razor regular stars as Adrian, a man attempting to bring Satan to earth. "Bad hair" Randal learned his acting by watching Divine. The movie freely mixes voodoo with satanism. There is some "simulated" sex, although the participants keep their clothes on. As a bad movie goes, it needed to be worse to be more entertaining.

Eyes of the Werewolf is about the only movie even remotely watchable. The other two are actually painful to view. It's amazing how this type of thing could be even classed as marketable. Upside, the packaging and disc quality is good and the leading actress is hot however, in this case, it seems like I never got what I paid for even at such a cheap price.
