Hot summer days winner
Both our Laggotos love to take a Lily Pad break in the heat of summer play.We got a scrub brush on a broom handle to scrub it down once a week or so. It will kill the grass if it's not moved often. Husband built a little landing for it, not sure it's necessary.

Great price
Really good quality and size for the price. I do have small shih tzus though who don't care much about it but the 5 year old nephew LOVES it

Overall a good buy
Although the water does spray outward instead of inward the splash pad does still manage to collect water and work nicely for its purpose. I am subtracting one star though since it’s portrayed differently in the listing. I use this for my dog (~30 pounds) and I to cool off on our gravel driveway. I would expect to get a full summer season out of it. I appreciate that the pad comes with an extra hose attachment in case the plastic on the first breaks. Will update if durability becomes an issue. Overall a good buy :)

Afraid of water
The media could not be loaded. This is perfect for my rescue dog who is afraid of water. I'm gradually introducing her to the water. I keep it on very low and let her investigate the water. She lays on it with no water and also when it's partially wet. She even bites at the water now as it streams up. She drinks from it as well. Im hoping she'll overcome her fear of water by using this product. The vinyl is durable and very easy to use. The valve screws on easily to my hose in just a few twists. It's a tight connection with no leaks. The price is great and I'm happy it's easy to attach on & off my hose quickly. It drains the water out if laid down & tipped toward the valve. Friends have seen my post in social media and have bought one for their dogs as it's fun for them!

It really is fun, but just way too fragile. Worth a try though.
This was attempt number 2 after the first we bought hadn't been packaged to mail out at all. It arrived in the ziplock bag it was packaged in, torn at several corners where it had received the usual treatment the postal service puts things through. It was a different brand as well, so confirmed for me at least that these really are all but identical. I did wonder, as they do cost quite a lot more or less than one another. Our dog loved it, but she treated it like giant chew toy and ripped a chunk out of the side.And.. While she liked it, she didn't like it as much as a regular water sprinkler. There's something about them that she just goes crazy for and runs and jumps through, and bites at the water jets. With this, she leisurely stood in it, and kind of played, but ultimately decided to cruelly take it's life.I think if something like this could contain a randomness that a sprinkler manages too, it would be a sure fire winner, but as it is, it's more like a water fountain feature.Fun and nice, but not game changing for us :)Buy the cheapest and give it a try. For dog toys, when these are around 15 dollars or so, they're well worth it, even if they do destroy them.

Dogs love it
My dogs love this thing. Don't expect it to last longer than 1 summer though. Also don't expect your grass to survive under it. I just buy one every spring so I'm ready to go.

Perfect for Emus!
The media could not be loaded. Perfect idea for Emus who can never get enough of water playtime. Originally used plastic kiddy pools but too dangerous due to slipping and sliding even with asphalt tape applied. The inside part of this product holds up to Emu talons which can basically poke through anything. Even if they put a hole in the middle the water just drains into the ground and does not affect the sprinkler holes in the outer tube. One small hole did occur in the inflatable outer ring but was easy to patch up with waterproof tape. This has held up to four very rambunctious Emus for two months so far and is used daily. Highly recommend.
