The first bottle I received was defective but the folks at Enzyme Dr. replaced it quickly and with ease to me, even throwing in some probiotics which I found very kind.So, my review. They are better than several others I've tried but still aren't QUITE getting the job done. I still have gastritis symptoms at least once per day but I feel that these enzymes are helping and have reduced my stomach issues.For comparison, I have taken and nixed the following brands as ineffective or not effective enough to bother:Enzymetica Acid Soothe (okay but not great)AbsorbAid (meh)Digest Care Critical (meh)Also pretty good: I also tried Metagenics Metazyme - this is the best for beans so far. I may try these again. We'll see.As for Beat the Burn, I have to take 4 when I eat anything including snacks (I wish there were more in each pill) which makes a bottle go extremely quickly and makes me feel a little ripped off but I do feel that there has been some improvement so I'm trying a second month of it. I do not feel they help much with digestion of meat but other problem foods of mine, beans and wheat in particular, are almost no problem on these which I appreciate.I'm in a healing process after many years of IBS so I'm hopeful that with more time I will continue to improve on these or other enzymes. Good luck to any of you with GI stuff. It's a long haul!

I've been constipated for 2 days now since taking these so called digestive enzymes. Apparently it's not working and doing the opposite of what it's supposed to do. I wouldn't recommend this product.
