This item was a lifesaver, as our mailbox is not on a post, but inside a brick and cement tower. Despite some attempts to fix the existing door, nothing was working well. Once I received a complaint from the Post Office regarding the door, I did some more research and found this product. If I had known it existed earlier, I would have ordered it a long time ago. It is not cheap, but it fit perfectly on my existing mailbox, and is working flawlessly. There is an installation video that shows how easy the product is to install, and it really is that easy. As expected, the hardest part was removing the old door, which wasn't that bad (I just drilled out the pivot pin). I wish other home improvement options worked this well.

OMG!! THIS IS THE BEST INVENTION, EVER!! The house I moved into is over 25 years old, and the brick mailbox was the "look" in the neighborhood. The door wore out in mine, to the point I came home one night with it hanging on one hinge. I was sad. Did not want to pay to tear down and rebuild the brick cover in a new box. Did NOT have too!! Yeah! Works great and makes my box look new. I have recommended this to neighbors with the same problem. Installs in 30 seconds or less!! It shipped super fast, too! That was critical!!

I have a bricked in mailbox. The mailbox door was rusting off at the hinges and I was not sure how I was going to solve this issue short of getting a brick mason. Luckily, I found this door insert. Perfect solution and super easy installation .

Yep, on day one of our out RV rental trip, I managed to use a 25 foot long RV crowbar to surgical rip the door of our brick mailbox. No damage to the brick damage waiver on the RV, so no foul there, but what to do with the half torn-off mailbox door?No worries for less than the cost for a family to see a bad B movie at the theater, and less than about 5 mins worth of time, fixed and done.Highly recommended!

The media could not be loaded.  The paint on this is bubbling, some parts are missing clear coating. Could be that paint wasn’t mixed properly. I thought it was dust and I cleaned it up. It wasn’t, this is exactly as it came. Disappointed.I’m going to see how it installs. I’ll edit the review later. Looks like I’ll need to sand this down smooth to get rid of all the bubbling then paint it over.

I literally took it out of the box and popped it into my mailbox. I have a box encased in brick and the door fell off. Such a simple fix!!
