While I am not a good enough cook to use this sauce to replicate the Au Bon Pain sandwiches with "extra Bernaise Sauce" I would get for my wife when on East Coast, this incredible sauce has helped me elevate the flavor of many of my daily foods. It is pricey but unless you are like my son (he doesn't use just a little), it goes for a while. I keep buying it again and again. And of course, all the info is in French, so if you are going to investigate the ingredients (as I did), you will need help (just Google it). Bon appetit.

It is okay. And it is quick to use. But it isn't like the au poivre sauce I get on steaks in restaurants. Guess I need to make my own.

Very nice and creamy but a little to vinegar like for my taste. Not many peppercorns either.

Oh wow, this stuff is terrible..and I really tried to like it. I couldnt get past the odor it was so gawd-awful.

This stuff is so tangy and savory, I find myself planning my meals just to have something to slather it on.

Perfect for gourmet eaters who enjoy poivre, but is a little bit pricey.

I was looking for the peppercorn sauce that comes with steaks when i'm in a restaurant. That sauce is brown this is yellow. This is not the same. It tastes like mustard with some peppercorn in it. it smells like mustard. So unless you like mustard on your steak don't purchase this. In fairness to the product i don't understand what "au Poivre" means. So I probably bought the wrong kind of peppercorn sauce. Also, be aware that these products do not come with a plastic seal. You open the top of the jar and the sauce is there. No tamper proof wrapping. I was shocked. I bought 2 bottles and I guess that's the way it comes

This tastes really good as a sauce or dip.

Dans mes souvenirs, il me semble qu'à l'origine, c'était "Mayonnaise au poivre de Madagascar".Et c'est ce que c'est en fait. Une bonne mayonnaise au poivre.Idéal avec du poisson, surimi, viandes, grillades... Si vous aimez les plats relevés, le poivre, elle est faite pour vous.A noter que vendu par Amazon à moins de 2 €, ça va. A 6 € par des tiers sans compter les frais de port, c'est de l'arnaque !!!

j'ai découvert cette sauce il y a 5ans et je ne peux plus revenir aux autres ! ce poivre (de madagascar je crois) est vraiment parfait! pas trop de beurre ni de fromage (car j'aime pas) donc vraiment parfaite !je l'utilise en sauce avec des lardons dans des pattes en plus, donc elle passe partout !juste dommage qu'il n'y a ait pas des pots de plus petite taille car 240g, c'est bcp et long à concerver
