Good Read
I'm reviewing this book a little late but I felt compelled to oblige after the prompt from Amazon. This book is full of detailed and descriptive information regarding living in the Black Bottom Community of Detroit. In addition to the vivid and thorough accounting was the photo documentation. The images provided drew me deeper into this tale of the African-American diaspora in the Motor City. If you're a history lover, this is a must read!!!!Kudos Mr. Williams.

A book of cliffhanger topics about Racism in Detroit
Not an in-depth book by far but it does touch on hot topics during and before the 1943 and 1967 riots. If you want to learn more then you need to research. This book is a good conversation piece and I will purchase a hard copy for my library.
