Good Batteries and Good Prices on Lightning Deals. Read this before you buy.
Batteries, who doesn't need them right? If you have lots of toys and other gadgets you will need tons of batteries, like me. So, I end up buying quite a lot of batteries; from almost all kinds of brands - Duracell, Sony, Energizer, Eveready and even Nippo's. I even got rechargeable's but, they didn't work out the way I hoped so, I ended up going back to regular batteries. For now, I have switched to using Energizer for most of my stuff, because they are very often available on deal prices and offer good price vs performance. Here's a little bit of info that might help you if you are thinking of getting these and is your first time with Energizer. The Good+ Long Lasting Batteries. The batteries are rated for 10 years of shelf life. So, you can stock them up when they are on deals. I have about 14+ sets of these now, stocked up+ Value for Money. If you buy these batteries on deal prices they are good value for money. They offer better battery life compared to ordinary batteries for devices that need that extra power or longer battery life. I use these exclusively on my battery powered screwdrivers, wireless keyboards and toys like Furby.+ Haven't leaked. My last experience with Duracell was bad when they leaked (Yeah, I know supposed to be leak proof, ruining a remote in the process). The Bad- They are not cheap "IF" they are not on a deal. So, I suggest you don't buy then. What's a good deal price? Anywhere between Rs.60 to Rs.95 for a set of 4 AA batteries. At times, Amazon does bundle pricing with 2 or more packs of these battery sets together, which you can also look out for.- Sometimes, you might get 2-3 year old stock. It doesn't really matter because they are rated to be stored for 10 years but, if you are finicky about these things keep that in mind.- Battery life difference. Honestly, I haven't really measured the difference between this and Duracell or Duracell Ultra or the others but, I would assume they are comparable. Perhaps, sometime if I get time enough I could do a drain test. All in all, I would recommend Energizer batteries for stuff that you are using Duracell batteries for. You don't need these batteries for things like wall clocks or remotes, ordinary batteries are fine.If you liked this review please click yes below; encourages me to write more reviews.

Less than expected usage time in clock
I've used this in an Ajanta oreva clock. It's dead as of today. Don't remember when it was used. Based on the ordered date, the usage time is between 1 - 1.75 years, which I feel is less compared to normal batteries. The latter ones will last around a year.Maybe these are to be used in toys, or remote controls? This hasn't leaked, but a bit rusted after use as seen in the photo.

For a deal price, Its a steal
Decent AA Alkaline battery for the price.Pros:1) Lasts long2) Can store the battery for longer time without using (havnt tried myself)3) Have not leaked till nowCons:1) Pricey if you buy it for MRP. I got it for a deal of 80INR/4 batteries which is goodPersonal suggestion:Give it a try if you get it on a deal. It is a steal then. I was once a fan of duracell and used to buy it in lots when i get it in deal. But I lost 3 or 4 remotes, toys of my kid and a wireless mouse as duracell tends to leak on less power consuming products. Duracell is good if you use it for flash and devices that needs more power. But as per my experience, it is worst to use it on products such as quartz clock, tv/ac remote, small toys that does not take much power to operate. The power lasts long but battery leaks inside.Final verdict:If you need solid power and is using in flash and the device is not stored for longer time, go for duracell. If you are using it in quarts clock, remote, music toys.. go for energizer.
