Got this for a baby shower gift. It was a hit! She can use any type of garbage bag for it and not have to use specific brands. Easy to use, traps in odors so no stinky smells, good value, great size, sturdy, and the color is very neutral. Perfect gift.

I was shocked to see how easy it is to use. As a special needs mama this thing is a life saver. Works even for large diapers from 6year old which have bigger smells with bigger kids. This diaper pails keeps the smell in with its simple design. I love that any bags fit in it. Built very well and the lid is easy to close and locks in the odor. not once has the bag slipped inside making a mess. The more expensive diaper pails like Munchkin that lock in the odor with fancy bags, require you to smash in the diaper which is gross and doesn’t work for big kids over 50lbs. But the Ubbi is smash free, practical and causes no scraping of walls. I was pleasantly surprised and will be recommending this for all moms now.

I really enjoyed using this pail so far. I liked that the lid seals out the smell and the quality is sturdy and not like cheap plastic. Other pails have that step on latch to open the pail, this one doesn't but for me it's worth it because it can lock to where when my baby becomes a toddler she won't be able to get into the trash and make a whole mess! To me it's worth the trade off.

Using for cat litter disposal not diapers and was disappointed with the poor odor sealing at first use and left a poor review. However, I was using the wrong type of bag and hanging it off the internal ring. I switched to a higher quality/thicker kitchen trash bag, easily removed the inner bag ring and now hang bag around the rim of the can and close the lid on the bag. I don’t mind the appearance of the bag hanging over the outside lip of the can and don’t add from the top of the can because the hole is too small for me to add litter w/out spilling but it could be big enough for those with finer litter (I use pine pellets) and smaller scoopers. Bags would tear on me when I would remove bag by pulling straight out of can. It’s less struggle and bag tears if I fill only 2/3 full before emptying by placing can on side and gently shimmying bag out. Yes, it stinks when I open it to make a deposit or withdrawal but doesn’t stink when closed-even while sitting in a Florida hot garage. Impressive and well worth the price.

The Ubbi diaper pail has some definite pros — it looks much nicer than most diaper pails, and I love that it doesn’t require special refill bags. Being able to use regular trash bags is a money-saver and way more convenient. The steel construction looks sleek and is so much sturdier (and more odor-blocking) than plastic versions we’ve tried. That said, I was disappointed in its ability to contain odors. At first, it worked pretty well, but after a few months of use, the smell started to linger, even with frequent emptying and cleaning. It also has a childproof lock, which is great now that our little one is on the move and into everything. The size is perfect — holds a good number of diapers without taking up too much space. Also, while the lid has a child lock, my toddler has figured it out and it doesn’t work for us to keep it locked. Overall, it’s a decent option and definitely better-looking than most, and I’d buy it again due to its functionality.

The best. They hold the smell in and you can use whatever trash bag you want! It’s a good size to hold a lot the diapers without taking up so much room. The lid slides easy and locks into place.
