This product breaks quite easily. The place where the headphone jack is inserted into the unit will break after it has been bouncing around out in the wind. I have had this happen twice. I have begun to wrap electrical tape around this part to strengthen it.

This is a wonderful kit...However, the place where you hook up the earbud speakers is a weak link and will break after some time of repeated use. I have used about three of these in 18,000 miles so every 6,000 miles or 30-50 connect/disconnect cycles it will break and there will be bare wires and static. But it works great otherwise!
