Unfortunately...got to use it...good part - it worked great. Pulled the sled out without needing a rider on the dead sled...

was not what I was looking for. Straps way too short for towing a sled unless you want the tow slamming into your sled.

I've used this kit to tow sleds about a half dozen times. I finally killed it on the last trip.I like that it is small and light. Also is very stable when towing. I like that the sled is not dozens of feet behind, it's right there. I thought I'd have issues with them making contact, but it's never been an issue even on bumpy trails.A few minor things to make note of.. - It's not that long. If you need to pull someone back onto the trail, this isn't the strap for you. - The ends that go through the buckles started to fray on mine. When they do it's hard to get them through the buckles. Check this at home, in the garage. Don't discover it like I did trailside. - As the straps wear they don't seem to stay as tight in the buckles and can slip. - If you can't get the straps through the buckles you can tie the straps together. This is what I did. But once tight and frozen it's tough to get them back apart. Mine met with a knife and is being replaced.All in all I'm happy. After about 6 years and 6 tows it finally died. For the price it's fantastic.
