Disorder In The Court! Paperback – September 30, 2004

If the whimsey of the dispensing of legal justice portrayed herein were not dealing with actual cases, this book would be quite funny. However, these stories come from real cases involving real people subjected to real consequences. Thus, it was rather disturbing. If you have no plans to visit the southern regions of our country, read on. If you are planning a visit to this area, BEWARE.

After reading many humorous accounts of "actual" court interchanges, I expected more of the same. This book has some funny exchanges (perhaps more than I found) but it is mostly anecdotes about people outside of court, Democratic politics,etc.

Good for legal folks

True incidents happen like those every day in courts. I'm a paralegal and it's amazing the things that are said and come up in court.

Good for some laughs = good read

...but a lot of them are meaningless to people not in the American Court system. The ones I do understand are very funny, and some have had me laughing out loud. A good - what I call - 'bathroom book'. One of those books handy to keep in the bathroom for those times when you may get stuck in there a while. ;-)

A lovely book to treasure!Bought for a loved one with a serious career involving a fair amount of court work - I believe it provides light relief and a laugh when there's a five minute gap between clients and reports. I don't expect to see the book back on the bookshelf at home any day soon.

very funny book and a wonderful series of what people say that is obviously not true and think they can get away with, which just goes to show some people think they have intelligence but they are sadly lacking

I was disappointed with this book. I am afraid I did not find it very amusing but of course this is my own opinion.

I bought this book as I'd seen snippets from this author on line but was generally disappointed with the book
