I really like how the top of the knuckles and fingers have ...
I bought these gloves with the intent of using them while clearing brush, fallen limbs trees, etc around my property. I've used them for 1 day so far and my only complaint is that they don't grip very well. The palms and fingers are reinforced with "Kevlar" that have little bump texturing on the material but they don't help with the grip. They are actually quite slick. I do believe they are well made and will withstand some heavy use. I really like how the top of the knuckles and fingers have thick rubber pads for protection. Due to the poor grip with these gloves which I feel is very important for safety I have to knock 2 stars off for that alone.Update: August 30 2015- both gloves have holes in the fingers and will be shopping for a new pair of gloves. The underside of the glove, (the black material)is very thin so it won't hold up to exposure to sweat or water. If the entire glove was made of the orange material I think they would last longer.Knocking off 2 stars since they only lasted me a couple days of outside work.

Fit is outstanding. Very comfortable.
Moved firewood for a couple days with some chainsaw cutting. They're holding up really nicely with only slight signs of wear from really course box elder logs. Bought a pair for a friend too. He's a much harder worker than me so his gloves are showing a little more wear. For the price and comfort they're outstanding. Make them just a little more durable and they'd be perfect.Second view, the thumbs need to be reinforces. The stitching has come out on both pairs i bought. I still wear them though because their comfortable.

Already looking for a new pair of gloves, not impressed
I needed a pair of sturdy gloves for use on the property when falling trees so I picked these up. The price was right but the durability is certainly an issue. To be fair, I've used the gloves for more than just saw work - mainly carrying wood, brush and other lifting/carrying jobs around the property. Also, they have been exposed to a fair amount of weather as I live in a wet climate. That being said, it hasn't been more than a couple months and I already need a new pair of gloves. All told, I've probably used them around 20 times for a few hours each use but they've already begun to deteriorate. Hard to say if it's overuse or poor craftsmanship but I was hoping for a little more than 2 months of use. First, the drawstring at the wrist snapped, then one of the fingers began to get a hole, and now the palms and multiple finger slots are wearing to the point of being useless. The price is fair but for heavier use these gloves aren't the right choice.

Comfortable and good quality
Husband posting this review:Five stars for good quality and very good comfort. Large size is usually slightly too large for me, but these gloves were perfect, so I agree the sizes run a little small on these gloves. Also I like the bright orange color, and they are warm enough to keep hands warm on 20 degree mornings with good wind blocking, but not overly hot on warm days. I am reordering these gloves.Cons: I'd give 4.5 stars if I could, knocking the gloves for just a couple things: 1) Slightly slick grip 2) Parts began wearing out slightly sooner than a 5 star glove deserves. First part to go was the velcro wrist straps, then pieces of the outer palm material started peeling after 9 months of use, then the fingers began separating at the seam after 1 year of use. Not used daily but a fair amount of use over 1 year, mainly used with chainsaw and handling boards and firewood, and clearing brush.

Sizing Runs Small - Order 1-2 sizes larger for Better Fit
Seems to be of superior quality. I have small hands for a man so I ordered size small; very tight so I returned and ordered a medium....still tight but better than the small size. My deduction....sizes run small so consider ordering 1-2 sizes larger.

Good value!
These are a good "value" work glove. The feel is certainly at the low end of quality and the materials are the same. But, if you need a cheap glove as an alternative to Mechanix or other $40+ gloves, these are the best option I have found. My only complaint is that the fit left a bit to be desired. I wear a medium in most gloves, and occasionally, a large. The medium in this glove was quite long in the fingers. So, be warned that they seem to run a bit large.

Great fit and seriously Tuff!!!
Tuff Knucks are awesome! Great fit and seriously Tuff!!! I use them for all types of grinding and working on Jeeps. Never again will I have busted knuckles if a wrench slips!! These are fantastic!!! They are also very tactile, so no need to take them off to pick something up. Even small washers off of a flat surface!! Super grippy too!!!I also use them for off road recovery. Never have to worry about steel winch cable splinters coming through the gloves with the Kevlar palms. Totally awesome!!!Highly recommend!!! Love these gloves!!!

These are well made but not tough enough for heavy fabrication work. To be fair, I have not seen any gloves able to withstand being buzzed by a flap wheel or wire brush without sustaining a hole in the material.
