Painted tree rings on 8 beautiful wood slices cut from fallen tree branches. 15 different shades of blue, yellow, turquoise, brown, white and ivory make up this bold abstract art piece. This type of wood is prone to cracking and just as it started, I sealed it heavily. Once the painting was complete, I sanded each slice to make them look aged. This is an extremely unique and very cool piece! Notice how incredible the bark around the outside looks. The painted tree rings can be maneuvered and arranged in different was to make a different abstract art piece each time. You will find no other wall art quite like this! Branches are collected and cut. Dried then sealed numerous times which is the tedious part! Painted, then sealed again and lastly coated with Minwax Finishing Wax. A hole drilled in the back of each one makes for easy hanging. Choose to hang clustered or in straight lines. On a wall by themselves or among photos. The possibilities are endless!
