I'm a TRX trainer and I have both the straps and the Rip trainer. I bought the TRX-branded anchor last summer for $40, but when it came time to get another anchor, I decided to shop around. I tried this one because of the low price and great reviews. And it delivers!Pros: Just as heavy-duty as the branded anchor. The lag bolts are the same size. This anchor is more oval, while the TRX brand anchor is a round circle. Cost of this one can't be beat.Cons: Honestly, the only "con" is that this anchor is not as aesthetically pleasing as the TRX anchor, which is very smooth & has the TRX logo if you care about that sort of thing. If you look closely at how this one is welded, the connections are a little rough. But when it's anchored up on the ceiling, who cares?Comes with instructions and was easy to install. As a reminder, make sure you are anchoring directly in the center of your stud/joist!Pic shows TRX straps mounted with this anchor and my Rip trainer (on the wall) mounted with the TRX branded anchor.

Almost five stars as they are very substantially built at half the price of the competitors. I have but two issues; firstly, as the two arched supports do not actually contact each other only the inside support holds the weight. The gap between the two is two narrow for even flat webbing to slide between so there can be no even weight distribution. Secondly, the welds, while substantial, are far from pretty, they are a bit sloppy but are strong enough. I have a 150 lb heavy bag suspended from a ceiling joist by this bracket and have hung from the bag and bounced my 190 lb weight from it. So, minor complaints, but plenty strong enough for most applications. I would likely purchase again.

Solid, The welds look good, the plate is thick, and the hardware is as shown in the picture (note, no masonry anchors). For 1/3 the price of other products these are a bargain without giving up any functional benefit.Bought 20 units and packaging, shipping (heavy), was all good. Would say I'd buy again but I don't see how I'll break these.

This is definitely high quality and bulkier than it looks. Not that it matters much, but I'm mounting this inside in my man cave, and I thought it wouldn't be noticeable when I don't have my TRX knock off hanging from it, but it definitely will be noticeable, which is fine. The good thing is I can hang anything off of it in place of the bands b/c I know it has the power to hold it up. This is a good buy.

This thing is awesome! I can't believe how inexpensive this was. Everyone else is charging close to $40 for the exact same concept. I needed this to hook up my suspension training to the ceiling in my hallway. Very easy to install with the included hardware and I've had no problems with it at all. Well-made and strong weld points. The plate sat nice and flush on my ceiling.

I purchased a pair of these to use as ceiling anchors for my gymnastic type exercise rings. They are well made, attractive, substantial, and trustworthy . . . they will easily support multiples of my bodyweight. They are also of very economical at less than 1/3 the cost of my TRX anchors, yet just as well made.

Hard to understand why the other mounts are so expensive. Was concerned ordering this one considering the considerable price differences. Very happy I did. This looks to be rock solid, heavy guage steel and welds. Paint looks high quality. Lag screws and washers worked well on install. Any issues overtime, and I'll update my rating

This product is heavy duty. The product arrived ahead of schedule and appeared as described. The mounting hardware is appropriate for the use of this product. The performance of this product is better than expected. If you are contemplating other styles of mounts do not waste your time, this is the one you want. The product is strong, simple, neat appearing, durable, and will perform well beyond expectations.
