The best airbrush I've ever used...seriously
Holy cow this is the best airbrush I’ve ever used. I build scale model aircraft and currently own an Iwata HP-CR (0.35mm), HP-C plus (0.3mm), and a HP-BCS (0.5mm). Let’s just say all the Iwata brushes are amazing. But this HP-BH is unreal in terms of performance. I bought this because of the 0.2mm needle size for up close/detail work. The paint comes out almost as a fog or vapor due to its superior ability to atomize the paint. I used this brush for a significant part of my Tamiya 1/48 F-14 and Tamiya 1/32 Mustang. The brush took my models to a whole new level. When I first got into airbrushing I bought several different cheap brushes available on Amazon in the $40-$70 range. I’d always get clogs, sputters, and other various malfunctions that would cause me to literally spend more time trying to get the things to work rather than painting my models. When you invest in a really nice brush you’ll immediately see that not all brushes are created equal. These Iwata brushes just work and they work well. But out of my 4 Iwata brushes, this is my favorite.

So nice to use on miniatures
For starters lets get this out of the way; if you are ordering a model number H2100 you will get an Iwata Hi-Line HP-BH Airbrush. This works so well with miniature painting. I use a Iwata Eclipse HP-BS to prime and zenithal pre-shade the miniatures, then base coat and high light with the Iwata Hi-Line HP-BH Airbrush. The MAC valve is super useful to get the paint to atomize, and the trigger stopper really helps to match paint flow to the MAC pressure. Wouldn't change a thing on this airbrush.Extra tips: when changing colors, pull the needle chuck in the cutout back to get a release of the cleaning fluid.I use a drop of Vallejo Airbrush Flow improver per 4 drops of paint, stir in cup with brush; plug needle guard with finger and pull back trigger slightly to mix in cup with air pressure. Really cuts down on clogging or dry needle tip issues.

I received the item sooner than expected, delivered it to the mailbox. Thank you Hyatt's for fast trouble-free delivery. As to the airbrush, well if you know Iwata products then you know that you are getting a top-notch product. Really, there isn't anything else to say, don't hesitate.

Great airbrush
Headline description is a little misleading. Picture shows the HP-BH model, but headline kinda says otherwise.... As another reviewer stated, this is the HP-BH, and is a fantastic airbrush!!! I ordered, noticed the headline, and abruptly cancelled my order as i did not want the sirbrush that didnt have a paint cup. But after reading the review stating this was the correct model as what is pictured, I resubmitted my order, and got what i expected. Highly recommend!

great brush
amazing brush, great control. DO NOT LET ANY PAINT GET ON THE AIR CONTROL NOZZLE IT IS A NIGHTMARE TO CLEAN. the rest of the brush is very easy to disassemble

Iwata Airbrush
Have used a number of Iwata painting products. They all work well. For the painters out there that want a top quality tool this is a good choice. Keep in mind what use you are getting it for. If you are doing T shirts I am not sure you need this quality. Model detail painting would make use of its abilities. I have some cheaper guns that work fine for what they are intended but will not get down to the fine detail of this gun. Excellent!

It's Iwata, what can I say?
I own an Iwata Eclipse model as my workhorse and I needed something more precise for smaller and very controlled jobs. The Iwata Hi-Line was really the product for such job. I love its weight and the progressive trigger.I previously owned an Harder & Steenbeck Evolution and I was having an hard time dealing with it. I'm no saint regarding cleaning but after passing to Iwata, all those problems were gone. Its far more tolerant to clogging and its easier to clean.

I'd buy it again and no complaints!
I use the airbrush for painting model planes. Iwata airbrushes in my opinion are the best. Hyatt's was awesome to deal with for purchases and they responded quickly to any questions I had. I give Hyatt's also five stars! : )
