Great.
***YOU MUST FOLLOW INSTRUCTIONS ***A really big and robust wok. It will take you about 30 mins to properly condition it. Mine is great. Eggs just slide off it and fresh chicken doesn't instantly weld to the side of it. Before you get it make sure you have a metal scouring pad as it is essential to removing all of the transit oil.

Best Wok i have ever used, huge and perfect for my kamado.
I was researching carbon steel woks for a while after having a few poor quality ones over the last few years. I was told by a friend that a traditional carbon steel wok is the best and they could not have been any more right!I use this on my kamado bbq to make stir frys, noodle dishes, rice and shallow frying. It's a game changer! This thing is huge, i can easily get portions for upto six people in this with room. Once seasoned its almost maintenance free and a doddle to clean with the traditional wok cleaning brushes i bought. It heats up very quickly paired with my vortex on my bbq and holds very good heat across its entirety (you can tell as it changes colour).I would buy another of these in a heartbeat however i know i won't need to as its that well made. The only thing to consider is this is very big and very heavy so that may be an issue for some people, for me however it's perfect and a thing of perfection.I hope this review was helpfulCheersShaun

Good large wok
Good sturdy handle, large size. Can take a good seasoning (see photo) and if you don’t know about seasoning a new wok you need to watch some YouTube tutorials not use the instructions! If you season inside your house, you will have a lot of problems with smoke, must really be done outside.

Great wok, but an absolute nightmare to get the transit oil off
This thing is a beast and very high quality. A great bit of kit.Now I confess I am a novice, but I could not get all the 'transit oil' off it. I ran it through 3 high heat cycles and this thing can really kick out the heat! So, after losing the hair on my arms, eyelashes, brows, filling the house with toxic oily fumes and annoying the neighbours with the continued smoke alarms, I had to concede defeat. I hope it all burns off eventually, but for now about 2/5's of the pan have black oil patches. Basically, the gathers in pools and you have to try to get those out and this is the bit I struggled with ...Anyway, good wok - but you need to know what you're doing

Massive wok
Great for fitting lots in if you want to batch cook. I struggled before trying to keep a meal for two in a regular frying pan, but with this, I can do 4+ meals and not lose a crumb over the edge. It's very sturdy and actually kind of hard to carry one-handed. I thought two command strip hooks on the wall would take its weight - they failed. I broke a cat biscuit bowl in the process and almost flattened a cat.Its size makes it very difficult to season effectively. Had to buy an additional stovetop rest as this wasn't able to stand on my gas hop burners otherwise.

Chinese style cooking
This is a large heavy wok that comes unseasoned. Perfect for me, as I was looking for a family size wok for fast Chinese style cooking. Seasons very well if you follow instructions, i dont this outside on an open fire to prevent smoke alarms going off. Once sealed you ready to flash fry anything. always remember to seal in with oil after washing and this will last a lifetime. Happy cooking all!

Not a true hand hammered wok.
This is a pressed steel wok, not a hand hammered wok. Misleading marketing. It's had a dozen or so bashes with a hammer, but this doesn't give you the facetted surface of a traditionally made wok, and consequently the food slides about in the pan just like it does in other pressed woks. Buy a hand spun wok instead.

Great wok
If you want a wok to handle any thing this is the one, made well and takes all temperatures well, just look after it and it looks after you.
