Before I start my review you, the reader, should know that I purchase items for Christmases, birthdays, anniversaries, etc. month—MONTHS—in advance. Sometimes, more.I bought this set of cooking utensils to put in my grand-daughter’s HOPE CHEST. I will be gifting her that hope chest when she turns 13, in 2019. Yes, I know, ridiculously early purchase. It is what it is.So, although the box has only been opened for inspection once, and only for a moment—I can say this:• All these utensils appear to be made from sturdy, quality material.• I love how many of them there are! This is a set of utensils for every need in the kitchen!• I love the colors and I love that they all match. My own cooking utensils are a hodgepodge of assorted brands, colors, makes and models. I wanted Lizzie’s (my grand-daughter’s) to match and look nice in her sometime-in-the-future apartment/house/home.While I’m gifting this set for a hope chest, it would be a great gift for a wedding/shower gift or a 1st time living away from home gift or for a new college student. I’m really tickled with this purchase.

If you are looking for some handy and extremely useful kitchen utensils, then I would suggest this 22 piece set of Stainless Steel & Nylon ones. This set is awesome and comes with everything you needed to get started in a kitchen of your own. The Spatulas work great and I love that it also comes with measuring cups and spoons. Also how about a pizza cutter for those nights when pizza is the only option, or how about the grater which is my absolute favorite. I love using it to grate fresh cheese onto my pasta or pizza or to grate fresh garlic onto bread. I also love that is comes with a peeler for fruits and veggies. These utensils are very easy to use and very easy to clean and you can use them with non stick bake and cookware. How about the fact that these can withstand a high heat so you don't have to worry about them melting when you are using them. These make a great gift for anyone getting a place of their own.

At first, I was happy with the strength of the nylon turners; they are flexible but aren't very flimsy like you would see on some cheap sets. But after using them merely 6-7 times to make omelettes and fry ground meats, I have found that they are not very durable. The plastic on the edge of the turners is charring off, and every time I go to use one again, there's usually a new little string of plastic protruding from the edge. There are spots on the turners that look like they have melted where I mashed down on some meat for a few seconds while cooking. I have not left them on a hot skillet or anything unusual, so I'm unsure how my simplistic cooking style has apparently done severe damage to these turners.Additionally, the brand name printed on the handle has already worn off after about 6 washes. I mostly hand-wash them, but have used them in the dishwasher a couple times. I use regular Dawn dish soap and a dish cloth (nothing abrasive). To me, this is a sign of poor quality (see photo).The pizza cutter and etc seem decent (although I wish it was a large cutting wheel).It was a fairly inexpensive set, so I don't expect top quality, but plastic that disintegrates after a few usages is in my opinion, worthless. I later found a brand name set on sale for nearly the same price, so I wish I had waited for that sale, because these have to be replaced.

This really is a great utensil set for the price! I would have to say that this set certainly includes more of the essential kitchen items then some of my last sets have, which is what really sets this apart. I've been missing a pizza cutter, cheese grater, tongs, and carrot peeler for quite some time now. It was nice to be able to buy them all together in a set, for probably a quarter of what I would have paid individually. Seriously, absolutely in love with these utensils. Could not have been more impressed. They are not flimsy little utensils that you normally get when you buy in sets, they are very well made. When I pick them up I feel like I'm actually holding something of substance that wont break on me in a week. Let me put it this way; I used the pizza cutter the other night and it cut through the foil I had the pizza sitting on. Now that is a well made pizza cutter.

Poor quality , pieces missing , wouldn't recommend
