"This is one of the few Full 72 inch door frame products shipped split in a mailing tube. The product has unique cut out spacing to fit most dual lock arraignment's. This is a thick piece of steel without the knockouts common to other thinner products. I had a none standard 4 inch spacing and within 45 minutes of sending an email I had a Phone call from the owner on a weekend offering assistance."

This is NOT a 72" peice of steel and is therefore mis named and misleading. As a previous customer, I had purchased and installed the previous version of this product and really liked this product, because it was in fact a 72" peice of single steel, that made my lock catch almost the full length of the door jamb with 13 different pre-drilled wholes to install 3" screws- that thing was/is as solid as a rock.The new version ( as shown in the picture attached) - is no longer one peice- it is two peices of metal, but is still named 72" - but it is actually two smaller peices- one for the top and one for the bottom.It is my opinion that the product is not as sturdy as the other as my single bolt lock is now only really being secured by one of the two peices and therefore less secure.When I attempted to contact the company to resolve the issue, all I got was a "Cliff Claven" like customer service rep who wanted to do nothing but argue and offer me 10 different reasons at to why the product changed and the history of the product. Based on his aggressive nature, I would say he must be dealing with alot of these same types of calls as he was immediately on the offense and armed with all kinds of ridiculous stories and facts.The product has been cheapened to save shipping costs and the company does a poor job of hiring and training CS reps whose main job it is to provide customer SERVICE. Too bad too, I liked the original actual 72" model enough to reccommend it to family and to come back for more product.
