Paula's Choice Skin Perfecting 25% AHA + 2% BHA Exfoliant Peel, Fragrance-Free & Paraben-Free, 1 Oz

My 43 year old skin is in full-on revolt. After 20 years of mostly problem-free skin, all of a sudden I'm experiencing major hormone-related changes -- lots of blemishes, excess oiliness and dehydration. Every inch of my face is doing something different, so it's been challenging to find the right products.I've tried a lot of these type of peeling rinse off products, but this was the first time I've tried Paula's Choice. I've been using it once a week for a month and am really happy with the results. I experienced a bit of discomfort when I initially applied it--a tingly almost burning sensation--but that faded after a couple of minutes.The first time I used it, after I rinsed it off and applied toner, serums and moisturizer I wasn't super impressed. My skin looked mildly irritated but that was it. Within 24 hours my skin (to me) was more glowy and smooth, and 48 hours after use it was noticeably glowy and smooth -- so much that my husband did a triple-take!Other benefits I've noticed: it's helped treat and minimize blemishes rapidly, helped even my skin tone and texture noticeably, and my skin looks and feels much more comfortable. All four times I've used it, the best results have come 48 hours later (although my skin throughout the entire week is much improved!)Because it's slightly irritating, I'll always be cautious about how much I use it, and after six weeks of use I'll probably take a break from it for a couple of weeks, but I will definitely be purchasing this again and highly recommend!

Here is a picture of what I use for my face which is both oily and dry. It has been hard finding the right face products for my skin. A lot of times it would clog my large pores, or I would have white heads along with dry/ red blotchy skin. Then I researched some of Paula’s Choice products. I picked out what I thought fit my type of skin. After some adjusting my skin has been the best it has ever been. I don’t have big blackheads, white heads, dry skin, or red blotches. And it feels great. In the morning I use the face wash, eye cream, and the daily hydrating fluid lotion. At night I use the face wash, the toner (make sure you let your face completely dry afterwards before moving on), I use 3 drops of the boost (let that dry), then I put on the night oil free moisturizer.Every Tuesday night I use the exfoliate instead of the toner. You let it dry completely. It takes about 15 minutes. I usually don’t put anything on after using the exfoliate because I am too tired to wait for it to dry. It works for me.Then about once a month or every two weeks on a Friday night, after using the toner, I use exfoliate rinse off treatment. Afterwards I finish with the boost and night moisturizer.

I usually use The Ordinary peel but wanted to try something different. I use as directed but I see no difference with results. This is a much thicker product so it won’t last as long and I don’t like the smell. Considering the price I won’t order again.

I was looking for an alternative for the babu facial by drunk elephant ($80) and this is amazing same percentage of actives works great. It's my new holy grail exfoliating product

I have been using this weekly as suggested. Apply after using face wash then leave on for 10 minutes. Splash off and pat face dry. It makes my face soft, cleans out my pores which fill up after a week and my face looks healthy. It does stink but who cares. You wash it off. Don't understand those that say no directions on how to use. Did you not look on full Amazon page on product? I am liking all Paula's face regimen products. I am almost 60. I have been having shin problems like comedones, over productive oil glands and blackheads. Tried 5 skin care lines. Paula's is my 5th. The biggest thing it does not overdry!!! It heals skin quickly. I am going to keep using!

I use once weekly for my peeling Retin A face. After 24 hours….no more peeling. I have sensitive skin and this is very gentle

I don’t get the hype?? Everyone just raves over these PC products. But. I didn’t see any improvement or real change in my skin at all. (I used it for 3 weeks. 3x a week… normal skin… 49 yrs old)

Im young and this is amazing like you wont regret it, i have the most sensitive skin out there but this doesn’t cause me irritation at all even if left on for 10 min, if it tingles and burns rinse off immediately that means your skin is not having it! But it never did this to me just advice for anyone else with sensitive skin..
