Good quality product
Very surprised at how good this is! TOM bridge with piezos. Sounds pretty good. build is good. You will need to make sure to add a preamp to get the best out of it.

Fantastic Value
This unit is an excellent value and customer service is first rate.As others have reported, you can get a dud. My first unit was a complete fail. Didn't work out of the box. But the return process is no hassle and within a couple of days I had a replacement, which works fine.Is it comparable to Fishman's Powerbridge? No. It definitely lacks the frequency response of the much pricier Fishman and its output isn't what the Fishman is. You will not get the touch sensitivity that you get from a pricey model like the Fishman, which I believe is the gold standard for units of this type. However, at this price, it's a good value.I paired it with a 3 position on/off/on mini toggle (for pickup selection) and a Fishman Powerchip preamp/volume control. The Powerchip has a trim pot on the board, allowing you to turn up the output on the Kaish unit. On its own the Kaish has weak output, so a preamp of some kind (either onboard or outboard) is essential. The Powerchip from Fishman is a great choice if you're planning on pairing this unit with existing passive magnetic pickups. There is no documentation with this unit. So you'll need to have at least some familiarity with how to wire a guitar. Most people will require a competent tech to perform this task. Fishman has documentation on how to wire the preamp, but it is lacking, as in it will not show you how to integrate your magnetic pickup controls (so volume and tone controls), which is kind of weird, given that the Powerchip is made for exactly this purpose (integrating an active piezo circuit into your existing passive circuit). That's where having experience wiring guitars will come in handy. But other than that, the documentation from Fishman is very straightforward with the Powerchip itself. All in all, I'm satisfied with the Kaish unit. I deducted 1 star for the return and because the unit itself doesn't blow me away with its acoustic sound. But again, for the price, this unit is excellent, especially if you're on a budget. If money is no object, then buy the Powerbridge unit from Fishman. Other than that, this little unit does a good job and doesn't break the bank at all. I have zero buyers remorse and would definitely purchase the unit again.Thank you Kaish.

Great tone at a great price!
Well the wait wasn't exactly pleasing. But I get it....these probably aren't flying off of the shelves (they should though!)But let's talk positive. I installed this on an inexpensive overseas LP copy. I used a Bournes Push Pull pot on the lead tone to switch between magnetic output and the piezo. Given that there would be no volume nor tone control for the piezo, I have an IR and then a preamp. Install was pretty straight forward as the bridge dropped onto the existing posts perfectly. I drilled a hole through the bridge pickup ring to snake the cable into the control cavity.Wiring is wiring. The leads on this are small. Quick trick that I have used for years - at the base of where you cut the insulation back, use a small screwdriver to create a hole in the braided shielding (ground) and pull the insulated "hot" through it. Tin and solder as needed. After routing, and as mentioned, I used a push pull pot to go between the magnetic pickups and the piezo.Lets talk tone. Well, this bridge can easily compete with my Martin and PRS acoustics through the same preamp (I use a Fishman ToneDEQ live). Mind you, I said compete. There is a lack of low mid/body but that should be expected when comparing an acoustic to an electric. I had a NUX Air on hand and there is a great live tone. Great balance across the strings and honestly, I doubt that anyone in a bar crowd would notice the difference.I liked this well enough that I went ahead and ordered three more for some other gigging guitars that I use where I don't want to bring out my acoustics. It sounds good and feels good. Drop in replacement bridge that fits import studs. It's bigger in overall length (sill fits the posts) and wider. More sustain as well and feels better well built that the stock stuff. If you want sound samples or install pics just hit me up.Edit 7/30/23 - I've played two gigs since installing these bridges. The sound guys at both were taken back by the sound and asked a lot of questions about what I was using. Other musicians came up to me asking how I pulled it off. No magic....I just run through the same Fishman preamp that I use with my acoustics. I can't say enough good things about this bridge and have been recommending it to others. Now only if they made one for USA models......Edit 8/27/23 - These are now in stock in the US warehouses and Prime eligible! I now have them on 5 Les Paul style guitars and am incredibly pleased. Gig after gig they perform as expected and the sound is great. Well crafted bridge and holds up to the demands of live use.

Just like the Fishman piezo bridge, with no documentation
The sound from this is pretty good, and seems to be basically the same as the Fishman Powerbridge (without the Powerchip). The basic install was the same as any Tune-O-Matic bridge, but you gotta drill a little hole to your cavity for the wire. The electronics install was tricky because there is 0 documentation with this - you literally just get a bag with the pickup/risers and that's it. I had to scour the internet for references and ended up using the Fishman Powerbridge Install Guide as a basic reference (find the Powerbridge on the Fishman site, click the Tune-o-matic one, then it's down at the bottom under Powerbridge Install Guide). You'll need to strip the 1/8" jack to expose the wires, unless you're plugging into some special preamp. All in all, I did get it installed and it's mixed in with my humbuckers for a pretty cool sound.

No sound
Installed on a LP that’s never had any problems. Added a two way toggle - mag pups to one side and piezo to the other - then on to the output jack. Mag signal works fine, nothing from piezo. All connections solid, continuity checks out, using a v-tone outboard preamp. No sound coming from piezo. I see some other reviewers received duds as well. I can't believe I drilled a hole in my guitar for this....
