This light is brighter than the 'pennies per year' flat square type of nightlight. And I like being able to direct the lighting. But I wish the sensor was more sensitive, it stays on when not needed. The light that the cooling vent slots let out can be very annoying as it shines up into your eyes as you walk by. I would say that your satisfaction with this item depends on your application.

able to put these around the house and never have to change the bulbs. wish they were a little bit smaller, they sometimes have trouble sharing the socket with another plug.
