I bought this case for my wife when we upgraded to the iPhone 5s. She is particularly concerned about dropping her phone so a case that has a non-slip surface and provides decent drop protection is important to her. We went through 2 Otterbox cases with her old iPhone 4s before we discovered the Incipio cases. Both Otterbox and Incipio provide great protection, excellent fit/finish, and great color choices, but Otterbox has a couple faults, IMO. First, the "bulky" soft/flexible outer cover becomes misshaped and deformed after a month or two. It actually begins to get baggy and loose fitting and the port covers no longer stay closed. Also, the price of the Otterbox seems a bit high relative to similar cases offered by other manufacturers. The Incipio case, OTOH, has a soft touch rigid outer shell (more like an exoskeleton), with a flexible and soft inner shell that cushions your phone. The two part case is doesn't add much bulk, is easy to install and included a screen cover and soft cleaning cloth.

I was nervous about this case because the Incipio iPhone 4 case was awful with regard to looks and functionality, but this is a really nice case. Both layers are thick, but not bulky. It protects my phone nicely (I've lost count of how many times I've dropped my phone, but I've had the screen replaced twice in the last two months before changing to this case). It's still sleek and fits well in my back pocket. I also thought the teal color would irk me but the purple is the right complementary shade.

This case seemed promising, but after the hard shell cracked this weekend, something definitely seemed suspicious since I've never had an Incipio case crack or break on me in the 4 years I've used them. I went back and read the reviews again, only to find out that--surprise surprise---I had been duped into buying a counterfeit case. On the inside of the case it says, "esigned in Southern California" just like other reviews said it would. While the purple/teal colors were accurate, the silicon felt loose and weird from the beginning.Basically, it took me two extra months to get my 5s after I bought the case (due to an at&t error), so this case wasn't even out of its packaging until October, well past its return date. So...looks like I threw my money away for a cheap knock off. Great job monitoring that, Amazon.

Pretty colors but seems cheaply made. The price reflects the quality. Haven't dropped my phone yet so that will be the real test. Not a tight fit and the speaker holes are partially blocked. But it will do for awhile

The quality of the material is great. There are two layers, the first more flexible layer, and the second a harder, sturdier one. The second skin was a bit hard to get on first, but it fits very snug. Great purchase for the price.

This case is very pretty! I did not like the rubber around the home button and the ear piece. I prefer a thinner case. This case makes the phone heavier than what it really is.

I am not hard on the phone...had a couple drops to a rug...so I haven't stress tested this, but so far so good. No scratches on the screen, no problems protecting the phone. I love all the colors available. It allows you to attempt to distinguish your iphone from everyone else's iphones. I got the slightly obnoxious purple and turquoise case hoping no one else would have it...so far so good.

The one time I decided to use a different brand case, I dropped it on accident and it chipped the corner of my phone and the case fell off! IMMEDIATELY went back to INCIPIO!
