I had a ac leak on the low side from the valve on a new jeep ac i installed. . I didnt want to have to discharge and vaccum the system replacing the valve, so I put this on the low side and it stopped it. So the seal is very good great connection

I have some nice gauges that I really wanted to use for my car's ac repair but the hoses had the fine pitch threads . These did the trick.
