EPIC Protein Bars, Beef Sea Salt Pepper, Keto and Paleo Friendly, 1.3 oz, 12 ct

I'm sorry but anyone that doesn't like these is crazy. The flavor is awesome. As for the texture, they are not supposed to have a hard texture like jerky. So if your beef about them (pun intended) is that they have a mushy texture that is YOUR bad for expecting anything else. These are a bar not a jerky and have the EXACT texture a bar should have. If I had to pick a gripe about them it would be the price, they are expensive. We are reviewing the product though aren't we, not the price.

0/10 hands-down the worst tasting jerky I have ever had do not waste your money on this. Absolutely disgusting product.

its a unique taste, I buy them in bulk because of the amount of protein and these don't make my stomach hurt like other jerky typically does.

The product is tasty, I prefer it to any dried jerky or beef stick. It might be a bit salty for some people but I like salt. However, it is a bit dry and the texture is crumbly like a dried meatball. It was initially kind of weird but after the first one it didn't really bother me. The saltiness with the dryness might mean you'll need some water to go with it.

Bought these for my dad who is on the Carnivore diet. He said they were really good and even bought himself more from the brand.

Basically, this is just a beef stick. I was a bit apprehensive about trying this at first because of how it looked but I gave the old trade school try and took a bite. It's pretty much like a Slim Jim. It doesn't have that dry. snappy (huh?) "skin" of a Slim Jim but the taste is a distant cousin to one (I do miss the skin, though. Ew.) I really do appreciate that it doesn't have the little fat globules that a Slim Jim has. That's always grossed me out a little.The texture is decent. Please keep in mind, this is NOT a jerky product - it's a BEEF bar. It just rolls off the tongue, right?!? I love jerky and this ain't jerky. Anyway, it's squishy/rubbery enough to have a nice texture without being too dry/crumbly. It also has a good spicy heat level from the pepper. A lot of people wouldn't appreciate the heat (I'm looking at YOU, Mom!) but I like it. I would give this a solid 4 stars but they only gave me 11 bars and 1 vacuum-sealed wrapper (see photo). So, 3 stars it is. I will buy this again to maintain my meat cravings but they better give me a solid dozen next time! <Shaking fist>

Delicious! Tastes like a slim Jim!

Not beefy or satiating. only sour taste remains.
