Nutsedge Killer, Ready-to-Use, 24-oz.

This stuff takes a bit of time to work, but it will kill nutsedge in your lawn. It's a bit pricey, but most other nutsedge killers are sold in packets to be mixed in a sprayer. That's the way to go if you have a big area & a lot of nutsedge. This product here very handy & effective for spot treatment. I use it whenever I see some nutsedge popping out of my Bermuda grass. It kills the nutsedge & has not caused even the least bit of damage to my lawn. I definitely recommend this product for spot treatment once you have a larger nutsedge problem under control.

This stuff is fantastic if you are trying to rid your lawn of nutsedge. It doesn't kill the grass but eliminates the nutsedge in a couple of days. Too bad Home Depot doesn't carry this anymore where I live.

I’ve used this with success for various weedy “grasses” and listed weeds for years, but it isn’t always easily found when the last bottle runs low. So this time I ordered it via Amazon. Be forewarned… this bottle was wrapped well in a plastic bag, but wasn’t shipped in a “this side up” box, rather it was in a shipping bag that in fact was laying on its side on our porch. All was dry on the outside of the bag and wrapping plastic, but even with care opening the plastic bag my hand got wet. The bottle was not absolutely sealed. I immediately went to the nearest faucet and rinsed with cold water (to close skin pores) and then hand soap and cold water. So be wary getting pesticides/herbicides anywhere but in stores.

Every summer I deal with this awful sedge and I have many many patches so I did buy 2 bottles and used them in full with one application- it has worked ( I’ve had professional grade nutsedge killer in the past and this worked just took a few more days and double the application-like I saidI had a lot of patches ) I would recommend this product and I may buy a 3rd bottle to just keep it all dead! I appreciate not having to mix anything and having to buy a spray bottle to create mixture! Packed well for any leakage

I purchased Ortho’s Nutsedge Killer through Amazon, thinking I was buying from Amazon directly. Turns out, I was actually buying from Ortho. The package was marked delivered but never arrived, and when I checked the FedEx tracking, there was no actual delivery address listed.Following Amazon’s policy, I waited more than 48 hours before filing a claim, just to be safe. When I reached out to Ortho’s customer service, I explained that I had already waited, checked all possible delivery spots, and even asked my neighbors if they seen my package. The response I got? A generic AI-generated reply telling me to wait 48 hours, check my surroundings, and ask my neighbors. Clearly, they didn't even read my message.Not only did Ortho fail to deliver my order, but their customer service was useless and dismissive. No real human support, no effort to make things right. They just robbed my money and left me with nothing.As for the product itself (which I’ve used before), it barely works. At best, it slows down Nutsedge for a while, but it always comes back stronger. It’s more of a temporary band-aid than a real solution. It turns the leaves yellow after a few days, which gives you hope at first, but it returns.Save yourself the frustration. Skip this product and this company. Poor delivery, poor customer service, and a product that doesn’t even live up to its promises.

Received Aug 1, sprayed Aug 2 & a second time on Aug 3. Today is Aug 4 and the nutgrass is already turning brown & surrounding grass still green. That’s faster than I expected. No idea if it kills down to the roots or nutgrass will reappear next summer but so far so good. Need to use 4 weeks before seeding so now is perfect time before Fall seeding and repair in the Northeast.
