Awesome looking appearance
Super coarse substrate. Lots of seashells and broken shell bits mixed with crushed coral. Looks totally awesome and was the look I wanted. Heard from an aquatics store that it can trap food and waste products. So I invested in a live "clean up crew" for my tank. Definitely rinse this stuff before you put it in your tank. It has lots of calcium powder on it and some sea grass which will float to the top. If you dont rinse it expect your tank to be cloudy for several days until it settles. Overall, Im very pleased with the look.

Mostly gravel
This product consists of approximately 10% small shells and 90% of what appears to be gravel and sandy aggregate, as if the manufacturer mixed sand with lime, let is set and crushed it in gravel sized pieces. I didn't see much coral at all.
