Have been using Buf-Pufs close to 40 years now and began using only the *Extra* Gentle sponge about 20 years ago. Could never imagine cleansing my face every day without using these facial sponges. I had tried drugstore brands years ago but didn't care for them.I believe the sponges help gently exfoliate & stimulate one's complexion/skin. Have been repeatedly told I look so much younger than I actually am--and what woman doesn't appreciate comments such as that, especially from strangers? Must attribute much of that to using this sponge because, unfortunately, younger looking genes aren't part of my family's DNA...and sure don't favor the thought of having toxins injected into my face. Highly recommend using these sponges with a good facial cleansing bar.

I just went to look at reordering this item and discovered that Amazon has put a hold on this item due to customers commenting on packaging or something to that effect. I have ordered these in the past and there is absolutely nothing wrong with packaging etc. I live in Canada and these are non existent! I have a skin condition on my face and these are my lifesavers and must be the extra gentle type. For those individuals who claim that these "roll" perhaps they are applying too much pressure when wetting them, you need to wet them apply your cleansing agent moisten your face with water and gently use circular motions on your face, they need to be rinsed squeeze the water out of them and then for good measure you can shake them out and make sure they dry out. Once they become "thinner" with use you discard them and use a new sponge. Please please continue to stock these!

I started using bufpufs when I was in my 30s--I'm now 64. Using the bufpuf with a facial cleanser has kept my skin clear and exfoliated. I've chosen not to have cosmetic surgery to remove or repair the signs of aging. Bufpuf exfoliation and a good sunscreen play a major role in my skin care. I regularly receive compliments about my skin, and although I am aging naturally, I'm pleased with the look and feel of my skin and am confident that bufpuf plays an important part.

I used to use Buf-Pufs back when I was a teenager in the 80's, and used to love them. I decided to pick these up from Amazon since I had read in a skincare book that I really like (  The Skin Type Solution ) that they would be good to use on sensitive skin to gently get rid of the flakey skin that Retin-A causes. I originally purchased a regular Buf-Puf but it was too harsh on my skin, so I'm so glad that I found these here since I couldn't find them in any of my local stores. They are gentle and really do get rid of the dry skin patches.Just be sure to rub really gently when using them! Even the Extra Gentle ones are still pretty potent! Because of this, I've only been using one once a day to clean my skin since I think that twice a day would be too harsh.

My daughter, who has extra-sensitive skin, typically uses the regular buf-pufs. The last time I ordered, she asked for a 6-pack of these, too, for those days where she needs something even gentler. I had spent a great deal of time researching the cost as the price of buf-pufs varies greatly - some stores really charge a premium. I found these @ 6 for $23 and change which is the best price so far. Note that these are disposable and each lasts approximately 2 weeks, so costs add up quickly. That said, the product works great for her acne prone skin, ensuring that her face is clean but not irritated.

I've struggled with seborrheic dermatitis for many years, and have tried numerous creams (prescription and OTC) to get rid of flaky patches on my face.I also have sensitive skin which makes finding a good overall facial exfoliant quite challenging. Oftentimes, I've found something that seemed to work but would cause irritation after 4-5 days.I've been using a Buff Puff once a day for about 10 days (with Noble soap, which was recommended elsewhere for the seborrheic dermatitis) and am very pleased the results.

I used to just wash my face using my cleanser and hands, but my skin was flaky, dull and acne-prone. Someone else with skin similar to mine suggested using these to exfoliate and make sure that my skin is clean. I have been really happy with the results so far! I only use it at night (because I have sensitive skin and I don't want to irritate it) and I've noticed my skin is clearer and has a nicer texture. This is great for people who don't want to shell out money for something like the Clarisonic but also want something gentle to exfoliate and clean their face.

Nothing works like these. I have been using them for many years to help keep my skin clear and am often told I look younger than my age. I really dislike using facial scrubs that have bits of grit in them. These pads feel nice and give me the sense of a mini massage. Wish they were still available in stores around me.

Actually wanted the 6 pk of the "Regular" but no (reasonable ) listing. Same for the "Gentle" . These are way too gentle - usless really . Not pleased at all - wasted money .
