Kalmbach Feeds 20% Organic Chick and Meatbird Starter Grower Crumble, 35 lb

Ok so yes, it is expensive - even against other organic peep crumble. That being said, side by side with the organic brand my friend bought, this is much better. The adult chickens circle the small peep house trying to get at this food. They don’t do that to the other peep house (where my friend’s peeps are).My peeps have been growing beautifully and doing very well on this feed. They eat and drink well. The crumble is nice and small (again, compared to the other feed this is a finer crumble) which is great because I have bantams.Highly recommend if you are willing to pay for it.

Nearly every bit gets eaten by my girls. They anxiously wait every day for feeding time.

Not a bad price at all and the chicks like it

I was using this feed just for my babies chicks until they moved from the brooder out to the coop but they love it so well I mix it into their regular feed now. They love it. It brings the cost of making my own feed down. Adds to the protein total and has my girls looking healthy and full of vim and vigor!
