This product is fantastic. I accidentally bought the brown Semco stain when I was resealing my teak. It went on so much browner than I wanted. I lived with it for years and even put a clear seal on top of it but finally this summer I couldn't take it anymore. In addition to that our table sat under a messy tree which discolored it too. I used this two step product and although it took me forever it was well worth it when finished. I had two side tables, a coffee table, a bench, a chaise lounge, a dining table and 6 chairs. You should definitely follow the instructions. Keep the furniture wet, do small areas, wear gloves and eye mask. A brush didn't work on my furniture. I tried fine steel wool which was better but ended up going to the hardware store to buy really rough steel wool and then did the trick. It didn't damage anything. I might suggest wearing some sort of heavy duty face mask as well. It's very caustic and I found myself coughing a lot even when I went across the yard. I'm very happy with the results.

I’ve been cleaning teak for since 1970, and have use almost every product. SEMCO is my favorite. It strong but a lot less aggressive than others. I’ve used it without gloves, but you should use gloves. Scrub on 45 degree angle to the grain, to minimize lifting the grain. When you lift the grain you should sand flat before sealing with oil.Turn that gray, driftwood, unmaintained look into furniture. After treatment look for residual grey areas that will need additional cleaning. A quick second application of A and B until you get all grey out. If you’re going to do it, do it correctly and completely for perfect results. Enjoy your investment. If you don’t clean your own teak, let you boatyard know about SEMCO. Buy it and give it to them to use on your teak and perhaps they will adjust your bill. There’s nothing as visually rewarding as a vessel with pristine teak. SEMCO helps you get that look.

We live in Southern California and use this product on our Outdoor Teak Furniture at the beginning of every Summer. I am positive that it has helped us maintain the furniture for 20 years. It's a process to clean and stain but well worth it.

Compared to just a brush and soapy warm water, this product really cut down on both the manual part of the manual labor as well as the overall time. Wish I had purchased it earlier. I have used Semco Honey stain for years, but this is the first time I have used the 2 part cleaner...Spent 80% of the time with the pink cleaner, not exactly sure what the green one did, but used it as well...

Works. Dries out very fast.

Used to clean both teak and ipe. Takes some time and effort but does an amazing job cleaning the wood. Removes dirt and previous oils. For teak, needed a sealer afterward (Semco sealer and clear coat work great). For ipe, needed a UV blocker with oil (Messmer's UV plus).

Don’t think you need to settle for gray teak. This work so amazing. Just follow the instructions then seal the Semco sealer and you won’t regret it

This is a fantastic product. Unlike many things we purchase today, this product actually performs BETTER than advertised. It made the weathered teak on the deck of my boat look like new.
