Poles split
I have went through 2 of these tents. The kids and I love the tent itself, but both times the tent poles have split. I had ordered one, the pole split, returned it and ordered another one, since the kids liked it so much, same thing happened. The kids are not rough with it at all, the pole just splits under the pressure of being bent like it's intended to be used. If they would use a better quality poles, I would give this a 5 star review.

Very Disappointing
I ordered this tent for my two Grandsons who were coming for a weekend visit and it was very disappointing. One of the fiberglass rods that hold the tent up split after we had it all assembled and staked to the ground. Once that happened, you were not able to thread the rod back in the metal sheathing so the tent did not stay up. We tried taping it so the boys could at least play in it but that didn't work either. Overall the quality of the fabric and the size of the tent were very good, large enough to hold a three- and a five-year old. But the rod construction was just so poorly manufactured.

Tent poles break during first set up. Son is heartbroken.
The first pole I went to install bent and broke. As my autistic son watched, all excited to have a tent to play in, i had to tell him no. He is still upset as I write this.I am an experienced camper, for 16 years, several tents throughout the years for my growing family and different kinds of trips, and I have never had a tent pole break.I currently have a shard of plastic in my hand. I'm going to try to find replacement poles from another source, because my son has his heart set on this tent.

This tent was perfect for my 3 year old son and his 5 ...
This tent was perfect for my 3 year old son and his 5 year old cousin. The size and open front was perfect for them. However after only 2 days of them playing with it the poles broke after one of them fell on it. The poles are made of fiber glass so they splintered and tiny shards of fiber glass got stuck in my hand before I had realized it. Luckily neither of them had touched it... It hurts and you can barely see them stuck in your skin. I returned it and won't be getting another.

ITS A FAIR WEATHER TENT .. THE ROOF IS MADE OF MESH
well .. i read the description and they say you can use it outdoors and it will keep you dry .. BUT THE ROOF IS MADE OF MESH .. AND THEY DIDN'T SUPPLY A COVER SO HOW CAN YOU STAY DRY ?? for a kid playin its fine for that .. but if its gonna rain ?? you're screwed .. so keep that part in mind .. its a fair weather tent ..

Fun and durable
My kids love this tent, and they and their friends have played in it enough--and in it wildly enough--to make its stability and sturdiness quite impressive. Highly recommend it!

Fun Tent
Bought this so the grandchildren could camp out in the basement. It is very easy to put up and take down and they love it. It can be used indoors or out. Large enough for 3 of them to sleep in at the same time. My 6 year old granddaughter likes to go inside and color.

Shoddy tent poles
The tent poles snapped within minutes of erecting the tent. This seems to be the norm, otherwise I'd buy a new set of tent poles. Now it's just collecting dust in the shed.
