My Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 1st Edition

When I purchased my new Samsung Galaxy Tab 3, I knew I would need assistance, since virtually no documentation came with the tablet. Thankfully I found this book available. While I have not gone completely through the book, what portions I have accessed have bee immensely helpful, easy to understand, and in many cases gave me more answer than I had anticipated. A must have for a new Tab 3 owner!

The book is very easy to read and the index for finding topics you want to know about is excellent. But the best of all is the pictures with arrows diagramming what the text is saying. I do wish, however, that the book had two sections: one for Wi-Fi only and the other for 4G. It was a little confusing when I started to read a section and found that it did not apply to Wi-Fi but to the other.

Up to date. Easy to read. Color and clear pictures. Very good price for a great book. Writer was well informed.

Even though I "looked inside" and thought that this book would be helpful, it doesn't address the simple issues that I'm having. And, some of its instructions didn't work. I don't think I'd recommend it.

I had never used the Android Operating system - I am an iPhone user so this helped explain features very clearly. I quickly learned to use my new tablet. I am still old school and need to read a manual to learn how to use a piece of equipmen.

I wanted a tablet to take photos, search, play games and one that was easy to use. This was a great deal around Thanksgiving/Black Friday. The ratings on this one were very high and I agree. It is easy to use, my 4 year old grandson loves to play his games on it, I do wish it were not just wifi, but it certainly meets my needs. Very Glad I bought this one.

I don't have the experience to make a proper review . . . I've never had a cell phone or tablet before. I do have experience on desktop and laptop computers. However, the whole computer/tech universe seems to be getting more and more complicated, rigid, and out of hand. However with this device I have been able to do email, read books from library, take pictures, etc. From my limited use it seems to work o.k., It's a very cute toy. At age 79 I've become something of a Luddite and though useful often find computers a diversion and a pain. But this is not a computer. For me the device is neither especially intuitive or useful. It's a nice toy and a way to get people to spend money . . . but, yes, it works. Jim Ryan

THIS BOOK HELPS ME IN MANY WAYS AS BEING IN MY 60'S I HAVE JUST JUMPED INTO THE WORLD OF SMART PHONES AN SAMSUNG S4 AND A SAMSUNG INTERNATIONAL GALAXY NOTE YES WITH PHONE AND ALSO THIS SAMSUNG GALAXY NOTE VERIZON 10.1 AND I CAN OPERATE THEM ALL NOW HERE IN LESS THAN 4 MONTHS WITH THE HELP OF THIS BOOK AND MAYBE ONE OR TWO MORE BOOKS AND TRYING MY BEST TO KEEP UP WITH TODAYS WORLD OF TECHNOLOGY...
