Useful for light-duty.
Light weight and convenient, they sweat on the inside and eventually soak through. An additional silicone treatment extends their life and usability, but not a substitute for real water or mud boots. You will slide in them unless your boots / shoes are at the large end of the overshoe-size range, when they will be more difficult to put on over your boots / shoes.

YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR
I never heard of NEOS until I seen them in a local work wear store the summer of 2014. Later that fall, I was looking to get a good pair of water proof work boots with some insulating value. I work in snow removal and was tired of cold and wet feet. When in the same store looking at the winter boots at 150 to 200 bucks and started thinking of the NEOS so I check them out again. They were light weight, comfortable,E-Z to slip on, and when strapped up tight, you could walk around without noticing you had them on.The first pair I bought was the voyager. The first day I wore them, my boss stopped me at the door and asked me about them. And when I showed him the light weight and E- Z on and off he was hooked along with a co worker who went out and bought a pair the next day. Because the voyager was to low for my taste, (my pant leg kept coming out of the boot) I wound up selling my pair to my boss and ordered the trekker. Now, the trekker was high enough to keep my pant leg inside the boot and free from snow.I will say that I can not recommend them for heavy work,(although they did do there job) because of there light weight construction, but they are great for outdoor activities.(working or playing in the snow, walking in the woods, snow shoeing, or anything you can think off). I used them for doing a job around the house in the deep snow, just wearing my gym shoes inside the neos and it was great!!They are a little expensive but the bottom line is, if you are looking for a light weight, all day comfortable overshoe that will keep your feet warm and dry, YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR ! I love these boots

Neos trekker superlite overshoes review
I bought these as they were suggested to me as a good option for wearing over hiking boots when on a holiday to Iceland to keep my boots dry and save the weight of taking wellingtons. The sizing was a little difficult to work out but I eventually bought large as I was concerned the medium may be too small and as I was obtaining them from the USA sending back may have been difficult . These went over my lady size 7 walking boots fine and although were n fact just a little large were still comfortable and fine to walk around in. I tried them at home when conditions were very muddy and they kept my boots clean and it was easy to take them off and take off the worst of the mud. So far so good. However I had really bought them for when we would be walking through squelchy grass and for photographing waterfalls and icebergs on iceberg beach in Iceland where it is almost impossible not to get the occasional larger wave wash over your feet. Here the boots provide to be very disappointing as after taking then off I found that they had leaked badly especially the right one. Then being "waterproof" it appeared that once wet inside there was no way for the moisture to drain away so when I took the overshoes off after a couple of hours I discovered that my boots inside were very wet having been sitting in wetness for that two hours or so, in fact the right boot was so wet that it was not quite dry again even by the next morning. The same happened when I tried them on a glacier with the occasional wet patch and also when walking across very wet grassy areas. I gave up on them after that and wished I had packed wellingtons instead. I honestly think that my gortex walking boots would have done better by themselves uncovered with only the occasional wet puddle to contend with. All in all I was very disappointed with the overshoes as I had expected waterproof overshoes to be actually waterproof so they were a waste of money. Perhaps I had a dud pair as the right one was very definitely worse on leaking than the left but in the light of my experience I would not recommend them to anyone as fit for the purpose I wanted them for. I will not be taking them to Yellowstone to use in the winter as they would be useless walking around through snow all day if they cannot manage even an hour across wet grass without leaking badly never mind coping with snow or puddles.

Excellent product
I have used product for long distance wilderness canoe tripping for several years. Recently I bought the XXL size to fit over a new, slightly larger hiking shoe. Their light weight and easy on and off make them preferable to heavier rubber over boots. I think they are preferable to a rubber or neoprene boot, just for the foot, because you have the convenience of a hiking boot available for portaging and around camp. I also use them when I am putting my tailored boat in the water at a ramp. Sometimes you need to go into the water just a little for many different reasons. It only takes seconds to put them on or take them off. Famous last words, they also seem to be rugged and durable, their light and flimsy appearance notwithstanding.

Terrific for hiking
These boots are terrific. Both my husband and I own a pair - just great for hiking, exploring, tramping around in wet areas. They are very light-weight and will roll up to fit in your backpack. Then when you come across a stream, wet, or muddy area, you just slip them on over your shoes and go. They do not leak, and they do not hinder your pace as you slog through wet areas. They are knee height so that you can easily cross shallow streams and creeks. Once you are on dry land, you just slip them off, throw them in a plastic bag and slide them back in your pack. We love them.

Great Quality! Love these boots!
I love these boots during heavy snowfalls! Perfect for running my snowblower without getting my shoes soaked. I just bought the XXL size because the XL did not fit my New Balance walking shoes very well -- this larger size is perfect. These boots go on far easier than any other snow boot I've ever owned. I bought the taller design because the top then rises up over my calf and keeps the boot on better than the shorter models (the grip at the top can snug itself above the bulge of the calf, and is, therefore, prevented from sliding down during use).

Nice windbreak layer for BC nordic boots around camp.
Love this overboot or boot bag as a wind layer in winter, or for canoeing and short portages. Sadly, this particular model no longer produced. Newer models too bulky for backpacking and not as amenable to kneeling in a canoe.
