Worth every penny
I just used this for the first time this past week, and it is life saving. I had one but it was on its way or not functioning anymore. The quality is is superb and the way is so light it doesn’t make the camera too heavy when it is attached. The design of it is different from the first battery grip I purchased but I for use it to right away. For sports that I shoot, having a battery grip is needed. Worth value of my money. It fit perfectly in my backpack.

I bought it for my 7D Mark ii and have been using it for a little while now! I havent had to charge he batteries in almost 2 weeks! Lol and it Works great!! Much cheaper then canons version. Plus the ability to to use AA Batteries great for those OS moments!

nice. probably not water proof. so far good value
so far, so good. fit could be tighter, so not sure if water proof after install. Works well

Does not fit cannon Mark!
This says that it will fit a Cannon Mark but that is false!!! Do not buy and then they only give you a short return window!

Very cheaply made. It works,but I don't like how CHEAP IT FEELS!
It fits but doesn't seat all the way, so there is a slight gap between the camera and the grip. Also it feels VERY CHEAP! The battery door feels like it will fall of if you touch it and the turn wheel to tighten it up to the camera is wobbly. If I had the money,I would by only the canon one. They are rock solid,but not this one.

Someone asked me recently if they really needed to buy the name brand batteries for their DSLR. My response was that I have been buying non-name brand batteries for years. I acknowledge that the batteries do not seem to have quite the same useful life as the the brand batteries, but since they cost about 1/3 of the other, it seems to be a no-brainer. Similarly I have bought off-brand battery grips in the past and I have never had a problem with one. I have now used this battery grip for over a month and I am very satisfied. I would do it again if the need arises.
