Leaves No Nasty Afterfeel
I’ve cycled through nearly every supermarket brand of washing-up liquid over the years, from the budget stuff to “eco” labels that either didn’t clean properly or smelled like damp leaves. This Method Peach & Pink Pepper refill was a gamble—mainly bought because I liked the bottle design and had seen it pop up in a few minimalist kitchens online. But it turned out to be one of the most unexpectedly pleasant daily-use items I’ve ever added to my cleaning routine.First, the scent. It’s genuinely something I look forward to now. A warm, peachy sweetness laced with a subtle kick of pink pepper that gives it just enough sophistication. It doesn’t smell like a fake fruit bomb, nor like a perfumey chemical cloud. It’s balanced, inviting, and oddly calming while doing dishes—especially when you're elbow-deep in greasy pans or plastic tubs that held oily stir-fries. That tiny sensory lift goes a long way at the end of a long day.Performance-wise, it punches above its weight. I’ve tested it on everything from hardened egg yolk to congealed tahini, and while it doesn't have the hyper-detergent snap of commercial-grade liquids, it does a great job with minimal elbow grease. You need slightly more than a concentrated green bottle brand, but not much—and it rinses off without leaving that clingy, squeaky feel I hate. Even on glassware, there’s no foggy film or residue if you use hot water.I also ran a side-by-side test with a mainstream brand on two identical trays with baked-on oil. Method needed a second sponge pass, while the harsher brand cut through quicker. But Method didn’t dry my hands out or leave that chemical tightness. For someone with sensitive skin or who does dishes multiple times a day, that trade-off is worth it.The refill pouch is another reason I’ll keep buying it. It’s sturdily made and reseals well, which makes it ideal for topping up the Method pump bottle I now reuse. It’s lighter on plastic and space than rigid containers, and I’ve had no leaks during storage. Bonus points for being biodegradable and plant-based—though I take eco claims with caution, I do appreciate the transparency and lack of harsh ingredients. It’s not the cheapest, and if you’ve got a full household constantly dirtying up dishes, you might burn through it quickly. But for one or two people who value both scent and softness, it hits a lovely sweet spot between luxury and practicality. I’ve now got it on Subscribe & Save because I ran out once and genuinely missed it.

Smashing grease, cracking scent, eco vibes, and a bottle that doesn’t look naff.
Okay, I’ve gotta say, Method’s Green Tea & Citrus Washing Up Liquid is a proper game-changer for doing the dishes. It’s like, why does washing up have to be such a chore? This stuff makes it almost fun. A couple of pumps on my sponge, and it whips up a load of bubbly suds that absolutely demolish grease and stuck-on bits. I had a pan with some proper stubborn curry stains, and this tackled it no bother—maybe a quick soak for the really burnt stuff, but it’s sorted. The smell? Oh, mate, it’s lush. It’s this zingy lemon vibe with a hint of calming green tea, like a sunny afternoon in a garden. Not in-your-face like some cheap dish soaps that smell like a perfume factory exploded. This one’s fresh, clean, and just makes the kitchen feel nicer.

Method Green Tea & Citrus 532ml Washing-Up Liquid
The, Method Green Tea & Citrus Washing-Up Liquid 532ml, is really nice, it is a gel consistancy, however, the gel has a thick, creamy, feel when you apply some of the washing-up liquid to your skin, so if you use washing-up liquid to wash your hands, you will be pleased with this product's effectiveness, fragrance, and feelThe washing-up liquid, has a nice, old-fashioned, Lemon Washing-Up Liquid fragrance, which I like more, and more with useIt cleans the dishes, etc, well, and it is good for cleaning surfaces, like counters, table tops, and my glass cooker top, and an enamel painted cooker top too - I mean if you have burnt-on food on your cooker, you will need to have a few lathers with this to get things perfect, but that's the same effort as when I use the new Fairy Washing-Up Liquid, called, Fairy Max Power, so all washing-up liquids need a few gos to remove burnt-on food, it's because the washing-up liquid mixed with warm water solution needs to be poured onto the burnt food area, and left to soak, just wiping the washing-up liquid and warm water solution over the burnt food stains with a dishcloth or dish-sponge takes longer to clean stubborn stains, because you arent soaking the areaA dishsponge that is soaked in the Method washing-up liquid and warm water solution, and then left on top of the burnt-on food, will work better to soften burnt-on food, and after an hour of the dishsponge soaking over the burnt food stain, the burnt food should wipe away easilyThe colour of the washing-up liquid is Aquamarine (light greeny blue)The washing-up liquid bottle is a bit slender in my opinion, maybe the base of the bottle should be wider to ensure the washing-up liquid bottle's stability when the pump is pressedI gave 4 stars out of 5, because of 1 flaw, which is, that the washing-up liquid's pump, needs a longer spoutWhen the bottle is sitting on the side of the sink and I want to add some of the washing-up liquid to the washing-up basin or into the sink, when I press the bottle's pump the washing-up liquid rolls down the bottle, it doesnt squirt forward enough to reach the basin or sink, you need to pick the bottle up, and then press the pump while holding it over the sink or washing-up basin, that's not efficientWhen washing your hands, the spout on the pump is too close to the washing-up liquid's bottle, so when you press the pump, the washing-up liquid sometimes will get on the bottle, and often your hand will touch off the bottle when you are dispensing the washing-up liquid onto your other hand, so if your hand is hitting off the bottle while getting the washing-up liquid dropped on it, when your hands are grubby, then that is not hygienicMethod? Make the spout on your washing-up liquids longer, and you will get 5 starsThe fact that Method washing-up liquid comes in a pump bottle means that it can double as a really good quality handwash, but the bottle's spout needs to be longer

Very good and smells lovely
I use this for washing baby’s bottles and breast pumps parts. And works perfectly, removes grease. It dries my hands so I am now using gloves. Oh and smell is so beautiful. You need to try it and you’ll love the scent. It’s so fragrant like a perfume not a dish soap! 😜😎
