Q: What is the capacity of these bags compared with standard sized paper grocery bags?

My son regularly carries 4 1 gallon bottles of water, never a tear, can be slung over the shoulder!! These are by far THE BEST reusable grocery bags I have ever used!!

No, these bags do not have an insert at the bottom. I did not have a problem with that, but it did befuddle the cashier at my grocery store, who kept trying to get it to stand open. I have been bagging my groceries now and just put a large item like a box of cereal in it first to make it easier.

Q: Whats the bag measurements?

Not sure exactly, but they are bigger than a grocery store plastic bag by at least a few inches in both width and height.
