Tourney Shimano Rear Derailleur RD-TX50

This worked out just great. We almost got rid of a bike until I found this part. Husband had was able toremove the original broken piece and replaced with this one. Happy camper.

Purchased this derailleur to replace one that my son somehow destroyed on his mountain bike. (Cheap bike from ToysRus). Replacement was pretty easy. I did have to adjust the low and high stops to make sure it reached all seven gears...but after some tweaking I got it to work perfectly. Son has been riding the bike for a week now with no issues. Good quality replacement at a very reasonable price. I had minor issue with first order but customer service at Niagara Cycle was spot on with their response, and sent me a replacement right away. No complaints, things happen.

This derailleur is a perfect replacement that lasts long and works great. The quality of the components is very good and the fit is exact. My old derailleur was a TZ30, but the TZ50 fits perfectly in its place.

nice looking but couldn't get it to work right so I only needed gears so used my old one with new gears works fine. maybe direction would make it easier
