This works well. The flim is pretty thick and smooth.It wasn't to difficult to fit and apply, once I had a template to cut the rectangles with. It was pretty easy to push any big bubbles out a few small bubbles remain but aren't notiable unless under scrutiny.This was and easy way to add beauty to a door, and we got the needed privacy. I't only been 3 days but I'm happy with this product so far. I would recommend and would use again.

Tools I used: Scissors, Exact-O Knife, credit card, pastry cutterThis window beside my front door has been a pain in my neck since I bought this house. Mainly bc I have four kids. And nothing’s proven durable enough for them. Curtains rods have fallen, the dog doesn’t help things either. She clawed at the previous decal on the window, which is why I needed to purchase this one ASAP. We’ve been in an ice storm for over a week, so I had no choice but to install it while the window was freezing.The last one I installed required a squeegee and a bottle of water to make it stick. I thought this would be the same set-up.First off, NO. This product is basically a sticker - you peel off the back, you make sure it’s flat. Done. I immediately thought this was going to be harder. I was surprised that it was actually easier!Tips:1. buy wider/longer than what you need. I bought the EXACT length I needed (oops).2. Have all of your materials within arms reach before you begin.3. The trick is to make sure you stay straight. So you don’t have to start over.4. Give yourself about a half an inch overhang on all sides. You can trim it later with the exacto knife. Trust me. This is the best piece of advice I can give you.5. Use a credit card or something flat to push out all the air bubbles as you go. I used a pastry cutter bc they’re more sturdy and wider. And I’m really picky about air bubbles.Overall Review:I prefer this product over the “water” one. Granted with the other one, it’s fully removable in case you make a mistake during install, but the installation on those is trickier, so you’re more likely to make a mistake anyway.With this product, it has a more precise installation. I was done in less than 30mins. It had fewer air bubbles than the other kind. Plus, the design is a stained glass. So air bubbles aren’t as noticeable. I just wish I would have given myself for margins on all sides. I did end up having to make a slice in the middle, which isn’t ideal. But from the outside, it is not even noticeable.This is a good product for someone that needs something up quick, and maybe doesn’t have a lot of dexterity in their hands. It was quick & looks fantastic!

We just moved in and out door has a small 4 pane window. I didn't want to put curtains cause it would just look weird but I needed to put something up because it wasn't high enough to where people couldn't just walk up and not see in.(Hope that makes sense..lol) Anyway, found this on Amazon. Very affordable compared to others so I was hesitant. Turned out to look like real stained glass. You can't see in. Not totally tinted so it still lets some light in(what stained glass does). Only problem was the measurements on the back were off compared with the measurements of my window so I was only able to do one window. (don't know how true it is but someone told me measurements are different in some products coming from other countries). There is enough(if measured correctly) to have done the side door that has 9 panes, so the money is worth it. Very easy to place, very durable, very sticky. No bubbles either

I think my pictures say it all!But here are my details:I thought it was pretty easy to install. Helpful hints:• I pre-cleaned the window thoroughly with a mixture of water and vinegar; (old school method). Let it dry of course. I also recommend waiting for the glass to be a bit warm to help adhesion. I think the instructions say this as well. Sunlight should get it warm enough.• The film is delivered in a tight roll. So I laid out the film on my carpeted floor the night before (approximately 10 hours) to help flatten it out before hanging; (see the pictures attached to my review). I think this helped tremendously. It avoided needing an extra person having to keep unrolling it as I installed it from top-to-bottom. The sheet just hung there ready for me to attach it to the window; slowly, carefully, and straight. As an added measure, I also rolled it back up in reverse (paper side out) just for a moment before I started to install it for additional straightening support.• I measured and cut it with about a ½ inch margin overlap on all sides. I then cut the excess with a sharp box cutter after I installed it. I cut the excess right in the crevasse between the glass and the frame. Make sure the blade is sharp in order to avoid tearing.• I liked that it was self-adhesive. No extra water or anything else. Just install slowly from top-to-bottom to keep it straight.• I used a small plastic putty knife to smooth it out as I hung it to avoid bubbles. (A firm credit card might work as well).Done! Except for looking at the beauty of it every day. I love the rainbow effect on my wall when the sun shines through; (see the picture attached). That was a nice surprise. To that point, you will see different levels of reflection and vibrancy of colors based on how the sun or other light source hits it throughout the day and night. But that’s cool too!So, yes, 5 stars! Good price. Good Quality. Very satisfied.
