Give pressure switch time to work.
I have a Hot Springs Aria, built in the first quarter of 2009. Had to use a 5/8-11NC die on my temperature control sensor to fit the slightly smaller hole in the new heater. NAPA had the die for about $8. The other overheat temperature sensor fit fine. Hot springs must have changed the specs because new sensors online show the 5/8 size. Thought about buying new pair of sensors, for about $36, but the die worked great. Also, even after a good pump/heater purge, the pressure switch would not close initially until the spa heated up for a few hours. I used a bypass to allow the heat to come on. Pressure switch may have been stiff in cold weather. Working great now.
