Canopy Expandable, Collapsible Garden Hose - 50 Ft

I bought one for my boat because I hoped the collapsible feature would safe space and be more convenient. When I received the hose I was impressed with the copper fittings and the durable hose material. I used it on my dock to wash my boat and was very pleased. All was as advertised, plus an unexpected bonus: the hose is kink free, or at least I have yet to experience one. I liked this hose so much I bought a second one for my bow locker where there is a second rinse down outlet. These hoses are a real space saver aboard a boat. Three notes of caution: 1] I do not know if they are potable, so I would not use one to supply drinking water, 2] They want to be straight when water pressure is on (hence the lack of kinking). However, they would not work in a closed stern locker when the water pressure on (so potability is irrelevant for most skippers). 3] My fresh water pump water on board puts out enough pressure to fully expand the hose and deliver a decent stream of water. If you use this on board your boat, make sure your water pressure pump is rated with enough pressure. I think mine is 45psi and it was fine. I am very pleased so far.

This hose works great for me but people need to be aware that the useable length isn't quite the full length advertised. I had originally bought a 25' hose and when you aren't using the water, it really is 25'. The problem is that as soon as you start spraying from a nozzle, you lose water pressure in the hose and it starts to shrink back down. When you are using this hose with nothing on the end, the length is basically the same as the shrunk up length. When you are using it with a spray nozzle, it's about 20% less than the advertised length. So when I'm spraying with my 25' hose, it only reaches about 20' and my 50' hose only reaches about 40'.Another thing to consider is that when you go to drain the hose and disconnect it, you end up walking backward as the hose shrinks back up. To get the last bit of water out of the hose, you're basically back to the shrunk up length. Not a big deal if you're outside but I have a spigot in my garage and used to leave the end of the hose outside to drain. With this one, I end up leaving a trail of water back to the spigot as I'm draining it.All things considered, these issues are pretty minor for me which is why I still gave it 5 stars. I have 2 of these hoses, a 25' and a 50'. Both seem to be made very well and I like the solid brass fittings on the ends. I've tried the other hoses that have plastic ends and they just end up leaking. I love the convenience of wrapping these up in a small area as well. As long as you are okay working around the shrinkage, I highly recommend these hoses.

the quality seemed very good and it did not leak anywhere. The second time i used it, it literally exploded, the neighbor came running out of the house because it sounded like a gunshot! I nearly jumped out of my skin and was soaked! I have 3 of these type of hoses and this is the first time anything like this has happened. I love the collapsible feature and the other 3 have held up well, this one must have had a defect. The seller is giving me a refund and i do plan on purchasing another one.

Used three times over a 6 week period and the hose never did have very good pressure. On third use it was leaking around the faucet attachment and would not let any water come through hose. I contacted Amazon and it could only be returned or replaced for one month. So basically I wasted $49.00 on a worthless garden hose. I would not recommend buying this product.Stated that there was a warranty on this hose ???

Have only had a month or so, but so far it's been great. Works better than old, similar style; no leakage anywhere.

I loved this hose. Bought back in March. Four weeks ago it separated at the connection. I contacted the seller about 2 weeks ago to see if it was under warranty and they sent me a new one to replace it. They were a class act and I would , for sure, purchase from them again knowing they stand behind their product. You know the hose is quality as soon as you open the box. Built much better than the in's on TV.

Purchased late April, used twice since then and there now is major leak at one end. Never stretched or torn on anything. Just used twice to water the nearby garden. Should have taken the advice from those who had similar bad experiences after just a few days of use. Unfortunately I am 5 days beyond the return policy for refund or replacement. A waste of my money.

Saves space Lightweight However restricts water flow . If you need pressure this is not for you but if you need for watering or other light water uses its great. You also have to be careful you don't snag it on anything sharp or the corners of your home. Update I use it in the pool area and the sun shines on it , therefore the hose rotted through in only a few months. This is junk. Do Not Buy! Made in China of course.
