I typically use an Oral B electric toothbrush at home and buy some battery-powered thing when I travel. The battery-powered versions usually last one or two trips and get tossed - poor battery life, the brush gets old and it can't be replaced, mediocre cleaning, etc.).This Initio had a special offer that brought it down to about $18. It claimed 30-day battery life from one charge and came with eight brushes. How good could it be? I could afford to take advantage of the $18 deal and figured I could return it under Amazon's generous return policy - so, what the heck.I was pleasantly surprised when it arrived. The packaging and even the QUALITY are very much Apple-like. Unpacking and setup are a breeze (it comes charged and popping on a toothbrush is a snap). While vastly different in technology than my Oral B, it's very similar to my girlfriend's mega-expensive Sonicare that was about $150 DISCOUNTED.It has five distinctly different modes and all of them work great. What it DOES accomplish really well, is breaking up the plaque on the backs of my lower front teeth, which has always been a real problem. Evidently, the 42,000 vibrations per minute work their magic to break up that plaque. If you're not used to that high number of vibrations when brushing (it's a slight tickling sensation), you get used to it pretty quickly, or just use the Sensitive mode, which lowers the rate of vibration.Other cool features include:- A timer that tells you when you should move to the next quadrant of your teeth (lower-left front, top-right back, etc. You have to figure out which quadrant you want to work on - the device doesn't tell you, specifically).- A great travel case with room for two brushes- A lighted indicator to see the brushing mode you're inWith eight brush heads, I'm confident that my Initio and I are going to have a good life together! LOL!! It does a phenomenal job of cleaning your teeth, and the smaller brush size makes it easy to navigate around your teeth. I see that replacement brushes are cheap, too, so this has purchase been a really great value. Seriously, I'm tempted to say that this little Initio blows away my Oral B and is equal to the Sonicare at an eighth of the price. Amazing.Very, very satisfied with this purchase!

Honestly this thing is lit. I've had it for about three months so I've had time to really use it and get to know the pros and cons.This is my first electric toothbrush so I can't compare it to much, but it's pretty baller imo.In the three months I've had it, I haven't needed to charge it once. The battery life is insane.The carrying case is nice, although it is a little weird that you have to take the brush head off to put it in there. There is a space to store the brush head, so it's not a big deal, but ideally I'd like to just put the whole device in without having to take it apart first. But yeah, really nbd. Only takes like two seconds anyway. AND the case closure is magnetic. It has good weight to it and it's super satisfying to click shut. Doesn't feel cheap or flimsy at all.I'm not sure if the different settings make a huge difference. I have sensitive teeth so I've only used the sensitive setting. But it's cool to have the options there.My teeth definitely feel very clean after using it. I think my favorite feature is the built in timer. Makes it super easy to make sure you're brushing for the right amount of time and that you're giving each quadrant of your mouth equal attention.I also love that each brush head comes with a little plastic cover. It gives me the heebie jeebies to have my toothbrush sitting out just like, exposed to the elements of my bathroom so I've always stored my toothbrushes with a travel cover on them anyway. Now I don't have to buy those separate, and I know that the covers are just as fresh and clean as each new brush head.It also just looks really nice and sleek. It looks expensive. That matte black is niiiiice.

With all the different settings, the extra brush heads, long lasting battery and carrying case this is a great bargain for the money! The settings are great! Although they each have their own purpose, they really allow you to choose the strength that’s right for you rather than just on and off or high / low. The battery seems to last forever. I haven’t had to charge it yet so we shall see. And I love the little case it came with in hopes that I don’t lose any of the extra brush heads and charger. It’s nice to keep it all together in one place. The timer settings are great. Between the two minutes and the 30 second intervals to tell you when to switch areas. Overall the toothbrush has a lightweight design and is really easy to hold and use. Great buy!

I bought my first toothbrush before Prime Day and was very pleased with it. I couldn't believe I bought a Sonic tooth brush for under $10. So on Prime Day, I bought this combination since it also included a travel case (very nice) and 8 brush heads. I have been using the first one for around 3 months and I am very pleased with its operation as well as the results I have seen with my teeth.Great product and great prices!

Battery life is beyond my expectations! LOve this product.

I purchased this especially for travel because of the case but, absolutely love how well it works. In fact, so much so that I purchased three more for Christmas gifts. It leaves your teeth and gums feeling super clean and the shape of the head makes it easy to get into the hard-to-reach area of your very back teeth. I am also very impressed that it holds a charge for weeks. The one small thing I would improve if I could would be to have room in the case for the charging cable. Other than that, I would highly recommend this product.

Works a treat. Takes some getting used to as tickles cheeks or lips. But works effectively and has a quality finish and feeling. A no brainer compared to more expensive alrernatives and used be pushed to tell the difference. Battery charge lasts for a long time too.

Valor del producto excelente, trae cepillos de muy buena calidad, las cerdas no se gastan rápido. Tiene varias opciones para el cepillado, es ergonómico, trae su estuche. Todo bien.

Había usado anteriormente otros cepillos parecidos, pero este es el mejor que he comprado. La batería tiene una gran duración, casi un mes y apenas se nota el descenso de la batería en el cepillado.Los cepillos son medio-duros, limpian en profundidad y por su forma llegan bien a todos los rincones de la boca.
