Just what I need. Didn't want to drill any holes to install a more secure shower rod. So, I bought this and I'm very happy. Easy to install, even though it says use two people I was able to do it by myself. Works great, looks great and it seems to be extremely sturdy as I pulled on it a couple times just to test it and it did not budge at all. Will buy another for a second bathroom.

Worked as advertised, I now have just enough extra space in the shower--very nice. Set up took just a few minutes and I didn't need a second person to help. I put the two set screws in the rod and then connected the two rod pieces. I was able to hold the bar level with one hand while tightened the two set screws with my other hand. Then, just a little nudging to get the final alignment, finished with the final tightening of the adjuster sleeve. Very easy. I usually wipe some car wax on the rod and parts and then polish, hoping to prevent rust. I did notdo that this time, so we will see if it starts to rust quickly. Overall, easy to install, work as intended, and looks good.

This has to be one of the simplest and sturdiest tension shower rod on the market. It looks great too. (My wife made me return another one I bought on Amazon that had big, bulky end fittings and didn't look nearly as sleek and modern as this one.) This item didn't catch my attention on my first search because the Amazon description says NOTHING about the dimensions it will work on. I simply looked at the manufacturer's web site and learned it fits an opening of between 58" and 60.5", which is perfect for our 58.5 opening between two ceramic tile walls. It went up incredibly easily in about 5 minutes counting my time reading the instructions. You simply insert one end of the two pieces into the other, and start unscrewing the twisting end fittings. I did it by myself but you should know it would have been even easier with a helper holding one end. You can really twist hard so you'll know it'll hold up to daily use. I'm quite happy I found this one.

I have an enclosed shower unit which felt a little closed in when behind a shower curtain. It mad a big difference just by adding that curve. I loved the idea of not having to make holes in my unit. It worked perfectly.

I don't understand these ratings. I purchased this item and it was an absolute ridiculous piece of tin held together by two of the tiniest screws I have ever seen in my life. Imagine the screw threads of a screw and that's it. I mean literally, if you sneeze, the screws would not be there. Two of these screws are supposed to be screwed through two tiny holes in the center of the two tin rods, holding them together....only I could not get the rods inserted into each other AND....I could not get the teeny tiny screws to actually screw through the holes. Thus...I ended up with two tin rods, two of the tiniest screws in the world and a shower rod that would not work.Personally, I returned this shower rod and bought one exactly like it by a much more prominent company. The rods inserted into each other with little effort and although the rods also had the same teeny tiny screws, they actually were able to be screwed through the teeny tiny holes. The rod went up successfully and I am very happy with my purchase.I suggest you go for the upgraded company and spend the extra 5 dollars to prevent the hassle of having to send the thing back and go to the post office etc.

Was a tad hard to put up, finally did have to get another person to help. Love the extra space it makes you feel you have in the shower. Only thing is where one rod goes into the other, my hooks keep snagging on that part and I have to give extra tugs to my curtain. Am going to try roller hooks to see if that will help. Not sorry however that I bought it, cause I love the more space.

So far this is a great tension rod. It's the only stainless steel, curved, and adjustable tension rod I could find its its very sturdy.

I haven't seen any rusting yet and it's been about 5 months. So, so far, it's been very good for me

Installed it in a bathroom we literally never use. About a year later it fell and is broken. No I will purchase something else, will not buy this again.

the connection where the two pieces connect aren't flush causes the rings to catch, pretty annoying. I would prefer a full picture next time. there is also damage to the wall mount part.thanks for advertising the flaws
