This is a really nice piece. It looks great - wow is it something when it lights up. The dimmer is great - it can go very dim, light the faintest candle, or so bright it lights up our entire bathroom. LOVE IT. Their are only 2 reasons I took off a start. One, it is very large, like bigger than an orange juice glass. This isn't necessarily bad, just really big. The second, and main reason, is that it is so heavy that it won't sit quite strait on the wall - it hangs back, just a bit. It still looks great, but if it could sit straight, right up to the socked I"d have given it 5 stars. But I still recommend this - really stunning and great night light!! Oh, and yes, it burns the stuff you put in it and smells great. And it did come with a light bulb, if you are wondering.

For the octopus loving person in your life
This was purchased as a gift for my octopus-crazy aunt. She loved it so much! It's sturdy, cute, and a fun addition to her octo-collection.I can't say anything about the longevity of the item as we just purchased it for her but as far as gifts go, this was a purchase I am glad I made.
