These are nice and soft but would like them to be half the size. Was thinking of taking them to a seamstress to cut in half and sew the edges but there is absolutely no time for that with a newborn.

I am a fairly simple girl and I don't often get "luxury items" such as new washcloths very often. Most of the ones I own are hand-me-downs. In fact, my newest wash cloths are probably from (almost) six years ago when I had my last child. I am in dire need of some new towels (of all kinds). Seriously. Which is why I have begun a very slow process of buying and tossing. Meaning: I get a new towel and I get to toss the crap ones away.I realize that these are supposed to be baby wipes and at first, they were intended for that. (My sister is with child.) As soon as I took these out of the pack to examine them, I knew that she would never end up with them. Not this batch anyway.These cloths are super thick and really, really soft. Upon first use, I brought one into the shower to wash my face. It was so comfortably soft that I used it to wash my entire body. I threw out my bath pouf. These are so much better.These cloths are fabulous for make up removing, body washing, and face washing. I would definitely recommend them for baby. (Although, my uterus is permanently closed.) They are soft and cuddly and very gentile on the skin. They wash up well too.I received these cloths as a discount in exchange for an honest review. I absolutely will be purchasing more when my sister's due date becomes a little closer. I will be purchasing two sets, one for me and one for her. These cloths are a great price for their quality.

I absolutely love fabrics made with bamboo, for it’s usual softness of the material and the natural antimicrobial lproperties. Years ago I converted by accident, I had purchased a few bath towels that were made with a certain percentage of bamboo rayon. I had accidentally left a pile of very VERY wet towels in a pile, and they ended up in a plastic trash bag for months. I was disgusted and disappointed to find that there was mold over the towels upon discovery, however the two that were made from bamboo material DID NOT have any mold! I couldn’t believe it, it was a very visual, accidental science experiment.Since then, I have enjoyed and felt more comfortable using products that incorporate bamboo. These are 100% bamboo towels and are extremely soft to the touch. Thankfully, not the kind of softness where if you have dry hands, your skin gets caught on it, they just feel very soft and pliable.This set of five has been useful, I use two specifically for my face for make-up removal and to wash. The others, I have found various uses around the home for them. My other bamboo products are surprisingly more delicate when it comes to washing, but these didn’t come with any instructions (like stay away from hot water), except they are machine washable. I haven’t had a problem with a typical washing and low heat drying session yet, so they seem to be very sturdy so far. The only thing that seems a little displeasing is that the hem or edge seem is off, as if they were using a serger and just ended the edges by running off. A picture is included to show what I am talking about. This does not bother me at all, as it is just a minor aesthetic that hasn’t caused any unraveling for me. Just thought I would give a heads up in case one was purchasing these as “Company Coming Over” towels.Overall, I really love this set and am looking forward to many years of use. I have a lot of bamboo washcloths, and these have set themselves apart as wipes rather than washcloths for a few reasons. First, they are not fancy. The wipes come packaged in a plain cellophane bag, there's no pretty label, the stitching is not distinctive, and there's no decorative edge (it's serged, and not always evenly), all of this makes them more comfortable for wiping delicate skin. They're also rectangular instead of square, though I suppose which you think is better for your purposes is a matter of preference. I definitely like them better than some of the fancy washcloth sets that I have! I haven't yet noticed any pulls in the fabric like my fancier sets, the fabric is thicker and they are super duper soft.They also clean up messes so easily! I use them in my kitchen for clean up after mealtime. I have a 10 month old and we do baby led weaning, so there is always a lot of mess. I just wet them and wipe my baby and high chair down, and the mess is gone, no soap needed. I like these so much and am so impressed by their gentle cleaning that I may purchase more, or repurpose them to use as wipes for cloth diapering. I love cloth wipes of all kinds.We don't use paper towels in our kitchen because we just use little towels and just wash them when they get dirty.I actually bought these wegreeco wipes to use for cloth diapering as a gift for a friend who is having a baby.But, when I realized just how big they really are (my fault for not reading the whole listing!) I'm now considering using them for kitchen wipes.We used some bamboo wipes for our kids when we were cloth diapering and they were great, these have a very similar feel to them.These wipes are so buttery soft and just really feel amazing to touch.I have fairly small hands and these are about 3 inches bigger than my hand.The only CON of these is that they don’t come with (or have a tag that includes) washing instructions.
