CELL2JACK, Panasonic Home Phone, Android Cell & Google Voice Perfect Trio for Seamless Connectivity
I recently rediscovered my old Panasonic KX-TGE270 home phone system (complete with four handsets and a base station) while cleaning out a closet. Originally purchased for my in-laws during a temporary stay, the phone system had been gathering dust since they left. With a desire to repurpose it and add a reliable, cost-effective backup to our smartphones, I came across the CELL2JACK box—and it turned out to be a game-changer!Key Features & SetupThe CELL2JACK device is affordable (under $40) and simple to set up. It connects your existing home phone system to your cell phone via Bluetooth, essentially transforming your home phone into an extension of your mobile service. I paired it with an old Android phone and integrated it with Google Voice, taking advantage of their free calling service. The installation process was a breeze, and within minutes, my Panasonic system was operational again, fully synced with my Android cell phone and Google Voice account.PerformanceThe system works flawlessly for both incoming and outgoing calls. It’s a perfect solution for anyone looking to maintain a landline-like setup without incurring monthly fees. The audio quality is excellent, and the Panasonic handsets perform as well as they did when I first purchased them. Why It’s a Must-HaveCost-Effectiveness: For a one-time payment, I’ve revived my home phone system and connected it to Google Voice, making calls essentially free.Reliability: As a backup to our smartphones, the home phone setup ensures communication continuity, even if cell service is disrupted.Ease of Use: No technical expertise needed—just plug, pair, and play.Final ThoughtsThe CELL2JACK box is a brilliant device that bridges the gap between traditional home phones and modern mobile technology. Combined with Google Voice and a spare Android phone, it’s a fantastic way to create a reliable and cost-free communication setup. Highly recommended for anyone looking to revive an old home phone system or add redundancy to their mobile devices!

The real deal
The item works as described, even better than I expected.Honestly I wasn't sure and didn't have high hopes at first; but I was very pleasantly surprised by the quality of the hardware, reliability of the software, and the fast customer support.I was using it to connect my father's 1970s touch tone phone as a Bluetooth extension on my work desk. Not only was the device easy to set up, it works very well.I attached the device to my PC so I could adjust the settings (the old cabinet phone is finicky 50 year old hardware, not the fault of the Cell2jack device). It took several attempts for the app to detect the device, but once it did it was very easy to adjust the settings.I dropped my cellphone this weekend and cracked the screen. I didn't plan on it but the Cell2jack was a lifesaver since I could still make calls while I waited for a replacement screen for my phone. Also I didn't anticipate it but it has worked out great for sleeping. I can mute all of the superfluous notifications on my phone when I go to bed and just hear the landline phone ring in the other room if I am napping and get a work call. It's easy to answer with my cell phone in bed.It reconnects quickly too when I come home, doing a much better job than my car stereo Bluetooth in preemptively detecting when my device is within range. The maker responded very quickly and helpfully when I had set-up questions.I'm very pleased with a quality item!

This really works and less expensive then others. Set and forget.
I've never endorsed a product here before, but this is an exception over nearly 20+ years of trading with Amazon. Our experience with this cell/pots gateway has been flawless for now near 5 years. Prior to this, we had an Xlink gateway that was never reliable from flip phones to our first smartphone. This one has essentially been set and forget once linked. We use it with a cheap cordless phone that we leave on the base in our home office. No problems with caller id like the one before or audio. I haven't read the reviews, but the AI synopsis mentions build quality. It's a tiny plastic box about 3"x 2" that we've attached with Velcro tape on the side of our computer monitor's riser. No issues. It provides a cell charging cable that our smartphone is always on in a desk stand when we're home. For five years, we don't even think about it when we get home, it just works. I can't comment on distance because our office is right close to our door.Another point. if you have other pots interfaced equipment such as telephone interfaces such as radio interfaces/patches or older DTMF equipment/home controllers. It works great too within proximity of the gateway. We've never need worry about distance as our one is sitting nest to the gateway. I should also mention that this has worked with two generation of the cheapest Samsung smartphones for us.

Works perfect
This works great! It was smaller than I expected, which was good. It fits neatly behind the books on my bookshelf to stay hidden. The setup was incredibly easy. I love that I can keep my cell phone on silent, but still get all of my calls to the landline.

Work
Clear sound. Keep it away from other device to avoid static. Adjust the volume and power to max and you get very clear sound. Number and Caller ID name actually get transmit to client phone. Bluetooth connection with iphone is solid @ 50 feet away.Tried with an older iphone se and it couldn't detect cell2jack Bluetooth. No success with google voice either, but cellular works well.
