Great metal comb. Stiff, firm brush.
The reason why I bought this is for its metal teeth on the eyelash comb. I had a plastic one before that I bought at the drug store. The plastic teeth break off easy and doesn't separate the lashes. The metal teeth don't break off and they separate the lashes with ease. Be careful not to poke your eye. ;) Also, on this one, the head where the comb and the brush is seems firmly attached to the wooden handle. It hasn't come off yet. I had an older eyelash comb/brush that had a wooden handle and the metal head came off easily and made it useless. The only reason that I didn't give it 5 stars is because I wish the eyebrow brush was softer like my old one. This eyebrow brush is quite firm and stiff.

Comb not attached well - Expected
Just as the previous reviews advised, the top comb part of this is not connected to the handle well AT ALL. It was loose as soon as I opened it. Unfortunately, this is about the only eyelash/eyebrow combo brush with the fine metal teeth on amazon, which I prefer, so I bought it knowing this. I simply took nail glue and glued it back together. I will need to do this again I'm sure, so be prepared. The comb itself is great and fine to get all the clumps out!

Needle replacement lol
I used to use a needle for separating my eyelashes when I was in high school. Then one fateful day I was in a rush and almost went blind because I accidently poked my freaking eye with my "trusty" needle (beauty is pain amiright ladies). Thankfully the Lord did not let me go blind, I just had a mini heart attack and I couldn't put my mascara on for a few minutes because my eye was watering, naturally. So because I no longer wanted to risk going blind or be stupid any longer I found this product and bought it. It's nice, it does the job, it does not poke my eye. Buy this if YOU'RE using a needle because, honey, it's not a good idea trust me the Lord saved me once but I can assure you He would not save me again.

I use it, but with hesitations.
Well, it does exactly what it's marketed for, and for that, I was happy.I decided to purchase this comb specifically for the metal teeth, as I knew it would have little chance of breaking, like my plastic one had done. Unfortunately, the metal teeth are just a tad too sharp, and I find myself not using it at all because it can hurt your eyelid if you're not extremely careful. Perhaps all metal combs are like this, and I'll just have to make the decision if I'd like to just have broken comb teeth or injured eyelids.Secondly, the comb popped off the handle on the second use. It's nothing that some superglue can't fix, but the fact that it didn't last was disappointing.

I didn't know I need one!
Seriously...I never knew I needed one of these (hangs her head in shame.) And then suddenly one day, there it was, on a crazy sale and I started thinking...maybe this is what my unruly brows need before I try to use brow gel on them! Boy was I missing out! The brush is fabulous. Helps put everything into place before I add gel. And the comb is sturdy and works amazingly well for separating and defining lashes. This was a win. If it ever brakes I will be so sad. But I think that is far in my future. Right now, this seems to be a well-built, sturdy little tool that has been working great for the past 2 months.

I'm so glad I found the one by Lash Factory since I ...
I had been looking for a lash brush for awhile and wanted one with metal prongs. I'm so glad I found the one by Lash Factory since I love the Lash Factory mascara. The brush has 2 sides, the metal comb and the bristle comb. I use the metal side to separate my lashes before mascara application and again after to help my eyelashes from looking spidery. It separates them beautifully. The soft side I use to fix stray eyebrows. The comb is easy to rinse off to get the mascara out of the comb. I run it under warm water and wipe with a towel. Easy peasy! If you're in need of a lash comb I highly recommend this one!

would prefer a lash separator that has much finer tines, but
Brush works well, but not exceptional. It doesn't quite separate without taking off some of the mascara. I, personally, would prefer a lash separator that has much finer tines, but, as I've yet to find such a thing... this will do the job. The eyebrow brush is not uncomfortable to use... others almost feel like a scrub brush; this does not.

Better than expected
I wasn't sure I would ever use the eyelash side of the comb but it has become my favorite part of this product. The eyebrow brush also works great and the quality is good, it doesn't seem like it will fall apart.

I love the eyebrow comb
I love the eyebrow comb. The eyelash comb is nice and does not feel cheaply made. My only complaint is that the eyelash comb bristles are slightly too wide for my eyelashes. But it still works quite well!
