Outstanding coffee
I’ve been wanting to try this for years. But I didn’t want to feed into the farming of these these animals. So when I found this brand, I scooped up a pack. They come with a card that recommends you use a burr grinder, and use a French Press preferably. They also give you instructions on how to brew it based on an very old technique.I ground the beans with a burr grinder, and used a Chemex. The results were frankly amazing. The smell of it was so light and smooth. I though I was going to get a very weak coffee, but when I tasted it, I was blown away. The first thing tasted was a fruity pop you get. I have NEVER been able to taste any of the “notes” that are profiled by the descriptions of coffees. I only know if it’s good, great or bad. Here though, I actually tasted some fruitiness. My wife agreed! I got the light roast, and it had a thick but smooth overall character. Really awesome cup of coffee. We were thoroughly please.Definitely check out these guys. They’re doing Kopi Luwak coffee right.Totally recommended.

Very good flavor. Bag supplied enough beans for 8 demitasse cups of brewed coffee
After a holiday dinner, 4 of us decided to try this coffee. We had the dark roast beans and ground them. We brewed one regular size coffee mug worth of coffee using 1/2 of the beans (so estimate two cups per bag). We all enjoyed the flavor with two commenting that they could taste a hint of chocolate. Our 10 year old daughter joined in and tried a couple sips (so, I guess, bring the taster count up to 5 people).Mt wife generally likes to add a creamer to her coffee, but she drank and enjoyed it black. The same thing was true with my mother-in-law. My brother-in-law generally defers to tea over coffee, but he too found it very good and is brining in a second sample to his work to share with a co-worker.I enjoyed it too. The flavor was full and clean. I probably would have leaned to an even darker roast, but that is how I generally like my coffees. Not the least expensive cup of coffee, but if the purchase price is divided into 8 demitasse cups, the cost per cup is the same as an demitasse cup of coffee at a decent restaurant (and probably less expensive than some coffee chains' drinks).Overall, we were pleased and will purchase again.

Enough for one cup
This is a tiny amount of beans. It is for a gift and sort of embarrassing act so I probably will just keep it and drink a 13 dollar cup of coffee. I should have read the description better

Price worth it?
I purchased this as a gift. Receiver loved it. It is an expensive coffee. I was only able to buy a small amount (1.76 ounces for $31). The receiver commented that the coffee is what they serve at the White House. Don't know. Didn't Google it. But.... no wonder our taxes are so high! haha

Sample size
I guess I should have read the description better but for $13 you only get enough beans for 1 cup of coffee so just be aware. That being said the coffee was tasty, just don’t think I will be buy again.

Very bad taste
I was very excited to try this coffee I heard so much about. Followed instructions but the taste was bad, bitter, unpleasant.I doubt if it is the real thing as this type of bean must be half digested. My beans are just perfect without any signs of digestion.

Exquisite taste and definitely worth a try for coffee lovers and food adventurers.
I am a coffee lover who will settle for the everyday brew, but when I get a chance, I love to try new and wonderful coffees from around the world. For many, drinking coffee that comes from beans that have been "processed" through the digestive system of a small animal sounds foul. This is merely ethnocentricism, which tends to prevent people from experiencing world cultures.I recently bought some beans from Kaya Kopi and made some coffee here at home. I followed the detailed instructions and made it traditional style. It is rich and somewhat sweet and the berry notes really come through. It is a taste experience like no other, and it truly took me back to the moment when I tried Luwak for the first time in Bali, Indonesia. For those seeking a taste experience from another part of the world, I urge you to try this coffee! Furthermore, Kaya Kopi's packaging is professional and minimal and the package came quickly.

Thumbs Up!
Shipping was fast, very good coffee, best part you don't have to add sugar and cream to make it taste good, it naturally has a good flavor and goes down smoothly. If this coffee could fit my budget I'd be buying it on the regular, I highly recommend it.

Oh the Smell!!
The smell of the coffee is surreal! It has such a rich earthy/chocolaty smell. Its intense. This should tell you how complex and flavourful the coffee was.
