8-piece 100 Years Glass Mixing Bowl Set (Limited Edition) - Assorted Colors Lids

We needed the largest size for potlucks at school. Our kids made large fruit salads for their potluck awards dinners. Today, we are use the largest bowl again. The smaller sizes are just the right size for everyday use. The quality is wonderful. The lids fit nicely. I love how our food looks in the bowls. Storage is easy as the bowels are nesting inside of each other. They are a great value for the price. I see that there is a Star question suggesting that the glass bowls are light weight. No, they are not light weight. They are a nice weight. Light weight glass bowls would not hold up to their intended use. These bowls are just right.

We use these bowls for many kitchen functions such as mixing, storing, and serving food. The lids fit snug and the different color lids aren't boring, but add some flare to the set. We love the fact that these bowls are clear so you can see the contents if you store food with them. The bowls are made of glass and have some weight to them. If you're looking for light weight bowls, these may not be for you. Overall, this has been a fantastic purchase for our needs.

I bought this set of 4 containers for my mother and she has loved them. They are for storage only as they are not oven safe, but each one is a perfect size as you can store almost anything in them. Easy to clean and handle. The lids feel solid and of good quality. I highly recommend this product.

I love pyrex bowls and this set is really fun. I previously owned a set of the three smaller sizes, but the largest bowl in this set is really, really big. It's perfect for making/carrying/storing food for larger gatherings. These are sturdy bowls, so they aren't necessarily lightweight, but the quality of pyrex really can't be beat and this set lives up to that expectation.

An excellent variety of PYREX baking bowls, and reusable lids are the icing on the cake! The fluted design makes them easy to handle as you prep your meals. This set was a phenomenal price! These bowls are attractive and sturdy. Perfect sizes and the lids fit well and look great. I purchased these so I would not wear out the colors any further on my beloved Pyrex mixing bowls inherited from my mother. Now the antique ones, though perfect for mixing bowls still, can go on display and I can enjoy thoroughly their replacement. Couldn't be happier!

I gave four stars because the first set i ordered arrived with scratches on the bottom. The box came opened and also had missing packaging material. And yet, Amazon took my "new item" money for the purchase while giving me an open box item. Be careful how you store these bowls! My friend was okay with the scratches and took them, but this isn't the first time Amazon sent open box items as new purchases. Now that I have the second set (that arrived with the box closed and well packaged) these bowls are great. The lids fit securely. Good assortment of sizes. Two things through. First, I wish the lids were more flexible. Over time I don't know how the hard plastic will hold up. Second, I do wish Pyrex offered uniform lid color options. But these are minor details and overall I am happy with my second purchase.

These are great for parties or get togethers or simply every day life They are sturdy ( dropped them on the floor a couple of times and they did not break) Colorful tops and clear bottoms for showing off favorite dishes and making a splash with family and friends Great for storing leftovers too The only drawback they are a little on the heavy side when comparing to plastic

I love the sizes, they're perfect for my larger salads, and the bowls themselves are very pretty. **I have not tested this yet** The packaging says that they are "pre-heated oven safe" I am attaching photos of the box for reference. I would always suggest letting any glass dish cool to room temperature completely before putting any water in it, as any glass product could shatter at any time. However it seems like this is legitimate Pyrex material (Borosilicate glass), based on the package notes.

These mixing bowls are to replace some that have been damaged after decades of heavy use. Very tough and the silicone lids add more flexibility for food storage.
